Most probs not. But never say never when transfers are involved :)

Doesn't fit the so called transfer strategy. Coming up to 30 years old, high wages and no re-sale value

I could have maybe seen it a month ago when we looked terrible but not now unfortunately

Whats happened to Origi this season? Noticed the few times ive seen him play that defo not as good as last season and only 4 gls in 26.

Ings will be much more productive over the likes of Lambert and mario but **** me they love signing average to decent brit more than united.

From what I've seen/heard Lille have been awful this season as a whole. Origi is unhappy there and isn't playing to his best because of it.

EDIT: Why oh ******* why was Balotelli marking Ivanovic at a corner that was a recipe for disaster ffs.

danny ings would be ok as 4th choice but any thing other then that is a joke

Carragher says it was zonal marking and Balotelli was marking an area rather than a man - its the reason Costa was also without a man

Ings to Liverpool cannot happen as it would break Premier League rules. We will have to wait until the summer if we want to sign him but face competition from other teams then

So balotelli's manager said that he was used to be the star in his team and all the team to be working for his benefit. Sorry but that's not Liverpool's way. Balotelli get your **** together, if you don't start playing better when sturridge is back, you will end up playing only as a rotation choice.... I was excited signing him in the summer but he completely disappointed me :/

Really? Balotelli disappointed you? He will always be a disappointment until he grows up and stops acting like a spoilt brat and if I was a manager I wouldn't go near him. It's a shame because he does have talent, but he just seems content on p***ing his career away, mind you the £80k a week he's on probably makes him feel better.

You can sign him if you pay the transfer fee.

Doubt anyone's going to do that mind. Burnley will keep him until the summer to try and stay up so his value to them will be massive.

No, I'm just saying he can be signed and loaned back if Liverpool actually pay transfer fee. We signed Smalling and loaned him back to Fulham.

That's actually a very good idea, which means it's not going to happen. :P

Maybe I'm missing something here but I don't understand how Premier League can stop the deal. I think you can' sign a player from Team A and loan him to Team B in the same window in PL, but you can sign a player from Team A with agreement that he can sign for them 6 months later.

I think Telegraph reported '[h=3]Liverpool thwarted in Ings deal' I didn't check the article but not sure how PL can stop that.[/h]

Not quite sure. Interesting.

Im actually coming around to the Ings idea.

English player for the quota with Johnson (probably) and Gerrard leaving, low wages, low fee, 7 goals in the Premier League and 21 in the Championship last year, high work-rate and someone who can press and play well in the system we have

for a back-up player its a good option to have alongside Origi, Sturridge, Sterling and potentially another new striker
