looks like carra got the leftovers haha

Right? Gerrard's 11 should wreck Carragher's. Carra won the pre-game bants pretty easily though. ;)

All joking aside, you can see why nobody has a bad word to say about Carragher and why he was such an influence in the changing rooms.

There was definitely a planned team before hand haha!

Either way, what a side involving Henry, Suarez, Gerrard, Torres and Alonso. Incredible stuff

I have a mental block about both him and Neville. My brain just can't process that PL's two biggest ***** of last 10 years, turned out to be such likeable characters as soon as they've put on a suit.

I had problems myself accepting that Gary 'Ratface' Neville suddenly was a man I should listen to. But I do, he talks with a lot of sense.

I'm actually quite sad Neville isn't going to be in this special match. It's great when there's a pantomime villain around, it's been too long since I've been tempted to boo Gary Neville.

The Express article is much more reliable and from a much better journalist.

He says contract talks will be postponed until the summer and Sterling is expected to be seeking somewhere around what Sturridge is earning (150). He says there's a similar situation with Henderson too.

Im confident it will all be sorted but people are making out that we face losing him this summer almost. Sterling can not even start talking to clubs for another two years without Liverpool's permission

I understand players wanting more money, but i also feel players of today are becoming so money hungry it is damaging the game

I bet his Agent wont be helping things that's for sure, they never do onless its for his benefit.

Tomorrow just became very important to keep in touch with 2nd-4th but also distant ourselves from Tottenham and Southampton

Difficult game but we have looked better away from home this season

He got a hat trick.

Those were his first goals in nearly 21 HOURS of play.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too high for him at the moment. He's serious work in progress.
LOL I know mate im not a fan just thought would let the Pool fans know:) Has defo gone backwards this season. Does not look the same player as last season or at the WC.

Nice statistics. But he has also scored 2 penalties, if you exclude them, he's behind both Meyer and Martial, having played more minutes than those 2 and being basically starter in Lille. The number of well playing young strikers is low generally.

Jerome Sinclair has joined Wigan on loan for the rest of the season.
