Papa lasted 30 minutes and had to have treatment again in training... maybe in January or next summer but he needs to seriously prove his fitness. Think Sakho/Ilori is the most likely at the moment

Did see rumours on twitter of interest in Mata, i had to laugh.
 
Hi i'm going to the Liverpool v Scumhampton game at Anfield on September 21st ( My Birthday ) and if he still at the club which i think he will be but anyway when does Luis' suspension end as want to know weather i'll see him or not cheers ?

Was it 5 or 6 games? If 6 then last game he will be suspended is the Southampton game.

Is there not a 3rd round cup tie aswell? not checked anything so guessing.. but i thought his first game back would be the Saints game

We need first team players, realistically we havn't brought one genuine first team player in this summer

However, Moses would be decent if it was a replacement fro downing.. as long as we sign a first 11 LF then i wont complain to much

I'd rather take the kick in the ****.
He's not first team material so all he'd do is waste time on the bench and push Ibe/sterling off the bench.
 
it's annoying. We're really not that far off challenging for the top 4, but we don't need squad players, we need plyers who'll improve our 11. We've sold more than we've bought, and we're making big savings on wages. But if our owners truly expect us to finish top 4 this season they're wrong. We won't unless we sign another two, ****** good players. It's so frustrating. I feel sorry for Rodgers, hes doing well in the circumstances, but he looked ****** off when asked about why the Willian deal fell apart.
 
Willian deal was a kick in the teeth, quite clearly saw Rodgers' disappointment on that one... When a player of that quality becomes available and he wants to join us its poor we didn't wrap that signing up

It seems he wasn't a target but was offered to us on loan by Chelsea ( Times )

Suppose it isn't a bad signing.. gives us a further attacking, versatile option. But we still need to improve our starting side
 
Strong side for tonight.. only in 3 competitions this season with no European football so seems BR wants to challenge in all!

Ibe, Sturridge and Sterling is a really exciting front 3!
 
Cant wait to see Ibe tonight. Not really seen much of him, but I have heard good things about him!
 
Brilliant first half, only negative was we should have been 3 or 4 up... Lackluster, complacent and lazy in the second half
