Minutes played (Sterling has about 200 more minutes), Successful crosses (Januzaj has twice as many), Crossing Accuracy (Januzaj has 16% to Sterling's 9%, which is actually massive), Dribble Success Rate (Januzaj wins), Clear Cut Chance Conversion (Januzaj has scored all of his, whereas Sterling's only scored 20%, which is pretty huge), Mins per goal (Januzaj is 351 to Sterling's 413) and another few that aren't quite as important.

Thing is, the main one they've missed out is minutes played, and they've also not taken into account the relative qualities of the team. Bear in mind here I'm not saying one's better than the other - I'm a big fan of both - I'm saying the article's massively jumping to conclusions and is too biased to take seriously.

There is quite a bit missing there after all. Still, I don't see anyone taking it as seriously as you're making out. I wouldn't take anything comparing players from a fansite seriously anyway.

Hard to say anything other than what a truly amazing first half.

Pressed hard, were physical, broke hard and fast when we had the chances too and in every opportunity created the players were always acknowledging each others contribution to it and celebrating as a team. Could have quite easily hit double figures in that first half.

Sterling and Januzaj are different kinds of players, so comparing them is pointless anyway.

minutes is included.. 1058 minutes for Sterling, 1048 for Januzaj at the 23.01.14

Hey, I'm just taking it as seriously as they're posing the question. If they'd made a tongue in cheek jibe at how Sterling could been seen as better despite the media, I wouldn't care. But if they're going to flat out say "he's better" then I'm going to refute those allegations as seriously as they're making them.

The majority of Liverpool fansites are renowned as being pretty ******* retarded - a few like AnfieldIndex are very well balanced and sensible - but this is a whole new level.

In which case, it's perhaps a more thorough debunking of their argument, since I'm looking at the stats right now and Sterling's haven't improved at all on an average basis, and in fact are poorer than they were before. Januzaj, having only played five minutes since then, not including today's game - has pretty much identical stats, of course.

Very good weekend of results for us. If Spurs drew that would have been ever better

Everton dominated and didn't deserve to lose at all ... Shame that Adebayor chooses such an inopportune time to discover that he actually has some talent

Actually forgot about that match thanks to a very severe hangover. Thanks for destroying my sunday evening :'(

I wouldn't look too much into the article I linked.. Despite the sensationalized title, it's mostly about praising Sterling, which I think is important as he's been fantastic this year.

Found this funnier than I should.

Liverpool and Arsenal are having their best season in years and yet their fans are still more obsessed with United... it's really beyond me.

But yes that does prove something, United's tactics are not even apparent, truely woeful... this is my biggest problem with Moyes. It doesn't even look organised half the time.

Both sets of fans constantly dig at each others. Don't claim for a second United don't still sing songs about Liverpool

Sing songs? Bit random considering I never mentioned anything along them lines.

You were saying how Liverpool and Arsenal fans are obsessed with United, but United fans sing about Liverpool during games. They were chanting about Adam being a scouse **** against Stoke.
