To wrap it up in my personal opinion both sides have done sensationally well to be where they right now. Liverpool have had the added bonus of playing much fewer games compared to Chelsea which has helped them but Chelsea have a better squad and manager so for me it evens itself out. I'll finish by saying i am normally a pessimistic Chelsea fan, always believe the worst will happen but for some reason i am positive about our game at Anfield.

Not sure how Chelsea have done sensationally.. They are expected to be there. Anything below 3rd and challenging on every front is a failure no matter how much Jose tries to play everything down
im sorry but thats horse **** you have spent a shed load of cash on players you have the best manger in the world you cry that you dont have a st yet you gave 2 away 1 on loan and sold the other yet pool have not spent anything what you and city have spent and give it a rest about how pool have had not had to play in europe so thay have had less games cry me a river this **** is getting old

Is Agger still injured/carrying a knock? If not, I'd put him in for Sakho. And I have a feeling Moses will play a part in the following games with Hendo and Sturridge out, Rodgers subbed him on at the end of the City game.
This is very true, and it's a reason why I'm very worried about next season. If we manage to win the league this season, not only could it cause us to be complacent (which we can't afford to be, because we need our players to be on exceptional form to stand a chance), but we will also get a lot of cash which we will need to spend wisely in order to increase squad depth and quality. I'm confident in Rodgers's ability to pick out a bargain, but we need to spend the money very astutely to be in with a big chance next season.Everyone has been talking about how big this summer is going to be for United. But no one has mentioned how big it is going to be for Liverpool if they want to stay in the Champions League for multiple seasons they need to seriously strengthen the squad.

Not taking anything away from Liverpool by the way, just merely pointing out it's a huge summer for you guys as well. That's why I hope both Man City and Barca have transfer bans it would help us out greatly
Atletico's squad is worse than yours on paper, I'd say, especially if you asked people at the start of the season. Costa is a star, but he was seen as a decent but problematic player at the start of the season. And if you're willing to use the fact that Chelsea are lacking a striker as an excuse, then I suppose you can say the same for Barcelona and City? City are lacking a solid second centre-back to partner Kompany and Barcelona are lacking a centre-back to partner Pique (yes, Mascherano can play there, but he's not quite natural there).
The depth in the Chelsea squad compared to the Liverpool squad 'unevens' it back out. Give us the ability to loan 10+ already talented players out and then you could argue with me.
How come Mourinho loaned us Victor Moses? You're going to tell me he knew we'd challenge for the title and still gave us Moses? Despite him insisting Chelsea still wouldn't challenge for the title?

In terms of being in CL semi final and in with a shot of winning the league, personally did not expect this and we have over achieved at this current stage in my and most other Chelsea fans opinion.
Who said i was crying? And you also spent money this summer, close to 50million if i'm not mistaken? And the fact we loaned Lukaku out told you two things, 1. he was not ready for Chelsea yet and 2. this is a long term plan. Not once have i "cried" about anything, your the one getting up the pole here, i just said both sides in my opinion have done really well to get to where they currently are. If anything that's praise for Liverpool!
Did i not say Chelsea's squad strength in depth wise was in our favour? And maybe Jose loaned Moses out because he saw what Rodgers saw in him, sub at best! Look at him compared to our attacking midfielders, not fit to lace their boots. And in fact Jose was one of the first people to come out and say that Liverpool were genuine contenders way before all this media love-in.
I'm actually laughing at these replies because not once did i slate Liverpool and in fact it was praise which made me vomit after typing it! But because i say "Chelsea have overachieved" which is my opinion and before a ball was kicked i set my goals and we have achieved way above them already.

That's why i believe it has to be this season or never (well not never but just not yet) for Liverpool in terms of winning this title. Although the club has a past playing 3 games a week in European competitions it is something which has not happened in quite a while so it will feel new to the club, players and especially the manager.
We did it in the season before last. Europa League and getting to the final of both domestic cups.
You must not have set your heights very high then. Did you expect to be battling for top 4 or something? Delusional.

I think you have believed the Mourinho 'mind games' yourself... A club like Chelsea with the squad at your disposal and the money spent should be challenging on every front, domestically and in Europe
No i personally had two goals which i felt the club should be targeting 1. Closer than 14 points to the eventual champions if not us and 2. the same man being in charge this time next season.
Not really considering i set my goals way before any of these Jose "mind games".
