Signed Emre Can. Moreno signed pending medical. Looks to be genuine interest in Shaqiri. AAAAAAAHHHHH I'm so happy.

On a side note, did anyone see the reported big Spurs put in for Moreno? ?14m + Capoue + Soldado on Loan. Call me crazy but that sounds like a dream deal!

Not that they mean much but Sky Sources said it never happened and they are not interested

Sevilla would jump all over that if true

This is without question turning into one of the best transfer periods that I can remember.

Just hope we sign some first team players soon... Moreno and Shaqiri/Kono/Alexis plus one surprise signing perhaps would be very good!

Transfers are getting dealt with thick and fast which is great. I am hoping Moreno will be confirmed soon as everyone knows our transfers like to attract other teams mainly Spurs!

As much as I hate to say it but if Madrid do coming knocking on the door with 80m+ we would be stupid not to accept it as we could do wonders with that money.

I'd still reject it personally, the money would be great but there is not another Luis Suarez and you have seen with Spurs it can go either way with Bale depending on how well the signings settle

We are not exactly short of money to improve the side at the moment as well by the looks of things

It would make sense for them to be interested. The reported bid came one day before Moreno signed a contract with us.. IMO, they were either too late for Sevilla to negotiate, or Moreno had already decided on Liverpool.

Of course, alternatively it could have all been a conspiracy in an attempt for the Daily Mail to inexplicably continue to sell newspapers. I suppose we will never really know.

Either way, we have Moreno, Spurs don't. YAAAY.

To be fair, Spurs weren't exactly fantastic with Bale.

I agree though, selling Suarez is a backwards step regardless of how many players we buy to replace him. If they genuinely offer ?100m+ which is supposed to trigger some sort of clause then fair enough.. But come on, we all know it's all bullshit to unsettle him. He seems genuinely happy, which is the best news a Liverpool fan can have this Summer.

That is very true.

I dont think is any chance of Suarez leaving this summer

End of the day like it's been said, Spurs were awful with the money they got from the Bale deal and Rodgers is a **** of a lot smarter than that. Plus is it also a company remember which does have debt, they would be stupid to turn it down if it were 100m+.

Were they? When they signed Soldado, Eriksen and Lamela, most people thought it was a good set of investments.

I agree with Subtle here. I actually thought Spurs were in for a very good season. Soldado, Eriksen, Lamela, Paulinho, Capoue would be very good players at most sides

No idea whats happened with most of them this season

IMO they were. Soldado can only scored pens for 26m is awful, Eriksen I admit is world class and will get better no doubt about it (annoyed we couldn't get his signature first), Lamela could be good for the future but for a fee upto 30m? Don't see him being a 30m player. Paulinho was pretty bad, Chadli was a pretty good buy for 7m.

Like I said that my opinion though :)

Judging on this season they were bad buys, yes but before the season started all were very good signings on paper.

Soldado was prolific in Spain, Lamela was fantastic in Italy and touted as a future star, Paulinho part of a very good Brazilian side.. For one reason or another the signings didn't work out but i can guarantee if they go elsewhere they will be top quality or very close to it

Apart from Soldado i'd welcome the likes of Lamela, Paulinho, Capoue, Eriksen at Liverpool

Soldado? No. Lamela? No. Paulinho? Yes. Capoue? No. Eriksen? Definitely. I guess it all depends on the price, but I find it a bit strange that you'd take Lamela and Capoue ahead of Soldado - that's just my personal opinion though.

Anyway, I think selling Suarez wouldn't be great for us, but perhaps if the offer comes in, we should accept it - he's 27 already and is a problem off-the-field, so we would do well to invest the money in younger players (which Brendan is good at - see the likes of Mignolet, Coutinho and Sturridge). Even if we got rid of Suarez, we'd still have Sturridge and a ton of money, which would be a good situation. It just depends on whether Madrid will want to overpay for him or not.

Soldado is a fantastic player and i stand by that, but our style of play i don't think would suit him but if he goes to another club in Spain, no doubt he will be a top player again

Lamela was one of the brightest prospects in world football before he came to Spurs, i would jump at the chance. Capoue also a very good young player who would be ideal back-up for the DM position

I dont think we should let Suarez go and i would be disappointed if we did, BUT we would have ALOT of money available and the lure of Champions League football and players knowing we have the ability to challenge on most fronts now

Mail reporting Dejan Lovren has handed in a transfer request amid reported interest from Liverpool.

I like Lovren. Leader on the field but the price may be inflated again by Southampton just like Shaw and Lallana
