I don't follow him that much he may be good.

Remy is an interesting one, I think he could potentially do well with Sturridge, but then again who knows.

Borini out for 14mil and Remy in for 8mil - liking that business

I often think Remy thrives around the type of players around him, I get a feeling with better service and quality he might make that step up... Arsenal reportedly wanted him as well, not sure why they didn't.

I agree, think he would be that type of striker the likes of Ozil would relish playing with and Arsenal lack

We don't seem to be actively chasing any big names at the moment. Doing a lot of squad building which is good, but without replacing Suarez we risk dropping back out of any title/ CL race.

It's a shame there was no real B-plan for if/ when Sanchez turned us down.

Awesome that we could make a profit on Borini.

Think the stumbling block with Remy will be wages, he was offered a huge contract by QPR and I doubt he's going to be willing to take a pay cut and I highly doubt we will be willing to pay him 70k+ a week.

I think 60k would be reasonable and i can see him dropping to that for CL football

Whispers of Di Maria contact last night

Yeah, I don't think he has much choice. We seem to be only concrete offer on the table for him, atm.

That would be nice.. Can't see it happening though. Makes me kinda depressed to see Arsenal signing Sanchez, chasing Khedia & Benzema. United chasing Vidal & Di Maria etc. but whatever, still a lot of transfer window for us to get some exciting business going!

You're on the right path to be strong contenders for those type of players. Next season will be key. If you manage to stay in top4, you're nailed on for someone good.

Kristoffer Peterson is someone who has really impressed me so far. Glad he's going to America with the first team.
