Probably a case of us dropping our demands so he can return there, 3mil for him is a steal.

So we're receiving £3m for Agger!? No doubt all of that will go to Agger to pay up the rest his contract. Only twelve months ago we could have sold him for around £15m. Sad times.

Really don't want Agger to go, he's one of my favourite players - Why can't we loan him to them to see if he can sort his injury problems out?! When fit he's better than any other CB we have.

Echo reporting that Agger doesn't want to go anywhere else, however 3m is ridiculously low in this current market and for how good he actually is

There are also rumours that as part of the deal we have first refusal on any youngsters but im not entirely sure how many youngsters have come from Brondby bar Agger

It's really sad to see that our club's vice-captain, somebody who's been incredibly loyal to us despite receiving offers from Man City, Barcelona etc. over the past few years is quite clearly being forced out of the club.

Being a Dane myself, I'm obviously into Danish football. Brøndby do produce some quality youngsters, and has in my opinion, the best youth academy in the country.

Obviously £3m is far lower than what I would've hoped, if Agger was to leave. But having first refusal on their youngsters isn't a bad thing.

And before other Danes here accuse me of being a biased fan, I hate Brøndby with a fiery passion.

Not really sure, but I think Ajax would get their danish talent from there. Eriksen, Fischer, Boilesen and Andersen.

Not quite. Eriksen comes from OB, Fischer is from FC Midtjylland and Andersen is from AaB. Boilesen is however from Brøndby. The majority of Danish talent playing abroad is from there. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg from Bayern, Andreas Christensen from Chelsea, etc. They've got a lot of talent coming from there.

The only acceptable excuse of this transfer is only if Agger wasn't happy with his role as a back up defender of our first two(Lovren Skrtel) Because we might also have Toure but he is not near good to Agger's quality(Remember his wrong pass last year which lead us to an unexpected lose). Actually in my opinion Agger is better than Skrtel too. And defense is a part that last year was our weak point. so having him either on the bench or on the starting line up would be more than great... no matter how much i support Rodgers he made a big mistake here....

Gutted that Agger has gone. Hope he does well back at Brondby.

Im pretty sure there would have been other clubs interested in him, but I think it shows great respect him not moving to another Prem side.

Sad to see Dagger leave, True Liverpool gent if anywhere for him to go and back to his beloved brondby makes me a little pleased wouldn't be able to bare him any other premier shirt, Wish him all the best :(

Under 18s beat Uniteds 4-0.

Canos got three assists, Wilson, Sinclair, Marsh and Kent scored.

Apparently snubbed Arsenal interest.

Legend. Hope he does well for Brondby I'm sure he will.

Yeah very sad to see him go as good loyal players are hard to come by but at least he won't go against us playing for another prem or CL side.

Liking the look of our starting XI today. Balo hattrick will do nicely ;)
