You have the same weaknesses as you had last year, you just don't have Suarez and Sturridge covering up the cracks. Probably fair to say that you haven't really progressed much though.

I agree to an extent, but you went for quantity rather than quality. Not sure who you could have got in realistically either, Sanchez chose Arsenal and my mind has just gone blank on players who were available this summer. The only other one I personally think you should have got if the release clause rumour is true is Bony.
