Last night was horrible to watch, a lot of fans are saying get Rodgers out etc. why? Because we are having a bad season? And what, we've been having bad seasons for the past 20 years lol. At least Rodgers (last season at least) has tried to change that routine and we almost pushed for the title. He has made some quality signings this season but they are going to need time to mould plus, he said himself in the summer he didn't want balotelli to come to anfield? It was more than likely he got over ruled on signing him and hasn't paid off.

there is still time for the team to turn it around and create an upset but CL is out of the idea imo. I'd say a 6th place finish will be more realistic this season unless we find ourselves a new goal scorer in January along with sturridge back.

Balotelli was solely Rodgers' decision. He was advised against it by those around him but he went ahead with it anyway.

I hate the way Balotelli has been written off already. He's played less than half a season for us and ok he hasn't turned up so far but he showed what he can do against Tottenham. He needs time and the backing of the fans, just like Rodgers does.

I think the whole Balotelli thing is a massive mess from top to bottom. He's an easy scapegoat for me and i am of the belief that the lad needs controversy around him for him to be able to perform. But before even all of that Rodgers and Liverpool had a massive chance of getting Remy, Premier League proven, cheap, peak age and no trouble (rape allegations aside). But they came up with some **** and bull story of him failing a medical because Balotelli came on the market, very poor from the club and they are getting what they deserve from that decision.

Just how much time does Rodgers need, exactly? Its been 3 years and so far he's only made more of a mess out of the squad.

Both of those comments really are guesswork - Nobody knows the real reasons behind Remy or Balotelli deals but i do agree Remy would have been ideal

That is such a short sighted approach.

Its been three years? and yes his second year he got us the closest we have since last winning the Premier League/first division... Like i said previously he has had his flaws but Rodgers got a squad together capable of challenging for everything but because we are a selling club it is yet another rebuild following the loss of Suarez

Did he? I mean did HE, or was it Suarez? Because watching how tactically inept Rodgers seems lately, I'm starting to have doubts about last season. The ******* things go this year, the more it seems that last year was not a product of Rodgers' tactical mastermind.

Rather, squad listened to his match talks, nodded their heads that they understand, but afterwards in the tunnel the veteran players went:

"Look, we have three lads that can out run anybody. **** all these diamonds and this possession bullshit. We sit deep, we win the ball, we pass it to Stevie, Stevie hoofs it and we score from the counter. After that, we sit deep, we win the ball, we pass it to Stevie..."

And that's how you got the 2nd place, basically.

When Liverpool win it's because of one specific player, when we lose it's because of Rodgers. Ok

Did Suarez play all 11 positions last year? Was he the only one on the pitch?

Yes he did. Suarez is world class but before Rodgers came in Suarez was regularly called for being wasteful in front of goal... The biggest success of Rodgers was setting up the team to get the best out of Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling

Its quite easy to praise the manager when things are going well and then suddenly claim it was in fact nothing to do with him when we go through a tough stage

you have to remember Rodgers and Liverpool have lost over 50 goals to their side this season - he brought poorly but any team would struggle to replicate the season previous when half of their goals have gone

why we didnt push harder for bony ill never know even a blind man could of seen hes a better option then balotelli. and whats goen on with lallana plays one game an plays well next game hes dropped same with can just dont understand some of rodgers choices this year i hope he turns it around i really do but i just dont think he will
