Yeah if he's allowed to stay. We could very well be at 7th at the end of this round, and if we end up there then there's no guarantee Rodgers will get another season, even if we win the FA cup. That's what happened to Kenny...

who could we get to replace him? who would want to come? that is the thing i cant think of any top manager that would. i just want this season over as soon as possible the only good thing to come from this year is the signing of emre can everything else has been a let down

Emre Can was unlucky - Yes he was attempting to tackle Welbeck but slipping made the challenge look a very poor one

He still should have stood him up, obviously

No idea, I want to keep him for at least another season. I'm just saying maybe FSG don't want the same, but we'll see.

Who could Liverpool get thats better than Rodgers? Really think it would be stupid to let him go at this point. He should just be encouraged to be more ruthless with his squad. Build a team around core who actually want to do well for Liverpool like Henderson.

Well they could get me, I won the league 10 times in a row with Liverpool. Don't know what Rodgers' problem is, just sign Lucas Romero and Balanta and we're halfway there.

Two losses... SMH

We're still the second best team form wise in 2015 in English football. Only behind the team we lost to today and just in front of team we lost to last week

the 1 thing about rodgers is he just doesnt know how to get results away from home against any decent team. i agree he should get next year but unless we actully make good signings and compete then he has to go

This is Rodgers' 3rd year, and we're ending up well outside top 4. If the owners regard last season as a fluke, they might very well sack Rodgers in the summer. Last year we were ahead of schedule. Now we're behind it.

That's because we are a selling club - a team can not make progression when every time a rebuild is taking shape another player is sold

and then sign who? do not forget what we were doing before rodgers.... we were not even close to top 4....i am not saying his is the best we can get but i acknowledge to him the fact that he is working hard and right now we need stability and a plan. Getting a new manager at the summer will only move us steps back not forward. I think rodgers is is the right person. the team from time to time is performing well with good football. obviously he is not very experienced as a manager but if I look back to the experienced manager we had the last 4-5 years.... well rodgers is way better.

I agree, and Sterling will probably be sold this summer which will set us back again. Like I said earlier, every time we take a step forward, we take a step back. Changing managers won't solve that, but FSG aren't gonna sell any time soon. Not that anyone is interested in buying anyway.

I know it may sound weird or probably impractical but would you sacrifice Rodgers to get Rafa Benitez back?

do not forget what we were doing before rodgers...

Dalglish was never gonna stay for long, he stepped in when the club needed him. If he had been successful, then maybe he'd have stayed longer, but he wasn't. And Hodgson, well... Don't get me started.

As for Benitez, he was sacked after a ****** season. Understandable in itself, but not when considering who was hired after him. But we were definitely close to top 4 under Benitez, basically every season except his last. Don't get me wrong, I don't want Benitez back (unless Rodgers is sacked and there are no better alternatives), but he did win us a couple trophies and challenged for both top 4 and the title.

Not really. i believe he is more of a tournament coach rather than a coach for leagues. Knock out games are suited for him. He won UCL with LFC and Europa League with Chelsea. He had a good year with LFC in Torres first season when we finished 2nd. But right now he is in Napoli in an easier League than BPL and he can't even get them to win 2nd or 3rd place. I don't think he is the right person

**** no. But like I just said: If Rodgers is sacked and there are no better alternatives, then I wouldn't mind giving Benitez a new chance. But those would have to be some ****** alternatives, like Hodgson and Poyet.

we will sack rodgers sell sterling and couthino and bring in big sam and sign danny ings and jordi gomez the fsg way cant wait for the summer

He may attract better players as well cos of his bigger reputation than Rodgers I suppose and his previous achievements.

Apart from Benitez I can't really think of an alternative which would merit sacking Rodgers.
