Wow, it looks like a game of football might break out now

Silly tackle from Joe, trying to make up for that miss kick. I genuinely dont know where goals are going to come from this season. Even with Studge back.

Meh. All problems stem from one place but what can you do.

Hahaha and people think lovren was the **** one. Skrtel is just as bad.

United score as many goals this game as the previous 4 combined. Liverpool score a freak goal only due to individual skill.

Sorry if I sound like an *******, but this team is really bad at the moment. 2 seasons ago we had a ****** defence and an awesome attack. Last season we lost that attacking ability, which was reflected in our finishing position. This year Rodgers seems to have tried to strengthen our defence, but the fact is we've conceded 6 goals in our last 2 matches. We have 7 points from 5 games. We've scored 3 goals. In other words, we haven't moved forward at all since last season, in the sense that we still have a ****** defence and a poor offence.

I know it's only 5 games in, but I prefer to look at it not as judging too soon, but rather too late - I was ready to wave goodbye to Rodgers after last season. The owners disagreed, and even let him replace staff and buy the players he wanted. So far he has nothing to show for it, and if my patience was wearing thin after last season, it's at an all-time low now.

I am very impressed it has took 5 games for the club to be in meltdown.... We have lost to Man Utd, what a travesty

If its still the same after the 10 game mark then we can start panicking. I honestly dont blame rodgers at all, its the management team assembled by FSG e.g micheal gordon that have to take the blame. Whats brendan supposed to do resign and lose out on millions, even if I knew i wasnt the man for the job I would sit in my chair until i was forced off.

Carra nailed it on the head there. Rodgers is trying to play a formation we dont have the players. Whether it is his fault or not that we do not have the players, he has to adapt.

The season we can second we played with 2 strikers, we need to learn from that and try something new. This 4-3-3 does not work.

Im quite disappointed the Benteke goal wont be remembered as much because of the manner of the performance and the result.

With Henderson, Coutinho, Lallana and Sturridge out today, it isn't surprising we struggled with creativity

Of course a manager should resign if he knows he's not fit for the job. That's what a professional would do.

And I'm not saying Rodgers isn't professional. I just don't think he realizes he's not fit for the job.
