I was on about the verbiage of what he said which was Shankly-esq.

But enjoy regardless. We're too happy to be arsed biting. Smiles.

What?!

I remember BR coming out with the same statements when he first joined. I also remember all the mass fawning and the images of Brendan with Shankly photoshopped. I also remember people saying he could be the new Shankly.

Good words, but absolutely nothing that is much different to what many other managers have said before.

Admittedly I liked the BR photoshop. He was about to win the premier league tbf

Basically a full strength Liverpool team, with Benteke and Firmino back on the bench

Confirmed #LFC team to face @fcrk: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Allen, Milner, Lallana, Coutinho, Origi.

Oh I'm not knocking what he did that season, but Shankly he wasn't. and thats actually ok.

Ditto Klopp.

There have been managers who have said things like this before for other clubs. Atmospheres just as powerful. You think Anfield is electric tonight. It has nothing on the Yellow Wall in full flow. And that's ok. It's wierd that people (not you) get so uptight if you point that out.

Reverse Psychology at it's finest.. Well in, Marshall.

Good work there. Rubin better team until sending off. Skrtel and Kuzmin in a race to see who could get sent off for stupid fouls first. Kuzmin won. Expect Liverpool to go and win comfortable as Kazan tire with 10 men chasing you, loads of space for the full backs to overlap

Coutinho needs to get in the game more.
Moreno looking good and of course Can.

Liverpool you have got to use the wide space better. Stretch them and then exploit the gaps

Not good enough. It's simply not good enough to create 35 chances against 10 men and not win. That is a lack of composure there. Too much huff and puff, not enough measured ability and thinking

11 against 10 for more than half the match against a mediocre Russian team at home, there's no way anyone can be satisfied with the result. Klopp has a lot of work to do. Even with players out injured we still should've won this, but the level of inefficiency lately has been simply astounding.

6 shots on target from 35 is unacceptable
