Anyone know much about this Marko Grujic that Liverpool are apparently going to sign?

He's 19, 6 foot 3 and has 5 goals and 6 assists in 22 games apparently. Anyone watched him?

He's become the first Klopp signing, taking advantage of Red Stars bad financial situation to get him on the cheap ..... Marko Grujic agrees Liverpool contract ahead of £5m move - Liverpool Echo

Know absolutely jack about him shy of what I've read and a few highlight vids. for what they're worth. Apparently United, City, Chelsea, Inter and Juve among others have been showing keen interest in 'the new Matic' and Klopp badly wanted him enough to convince him personally to come here. Which will do for me. First future building block in place.

Well he has it at Red Star. Which is quite impressive FWIW for a 19 year old to have at such a storied club. However much hard times they've fallen on.

Skrtel confirmed out 6 weeks. Lovren touch and go for Leicester.

Aside from keeping us at the bare bones in the middle, I'll be happy to see Sakho and Lovren together for an extended spell to see if that makes any difference. Will it be stronger or weaker without Skrtel? Every one of them has it all to prove. Sakho included.

Talk today we may be able to take Subotić on loan from Dortmund the rest of the year which would be a great pick-up if true with a view to a permanent.

Kolo and Sakho.. What a time to be alive!

If we're honest it's a complete **** shoot whoever we put out at centre half. XD.

Klopp seem's hopeful on Lovren for Leicester so we'll see. Be interesting if he's not ready whether Kolo gets thrown in or whether we reason he's finished at this level, not least with no match fitness, and put Lucas or worse, Can back there. Here's praying the Subotić rumours are true.

Really looking forward to Sat'day. Should be a real good game. Time to end this December drought. Don't know why after Sunday, but I'm very confident of winning the next two to round out the year. Leicester's run has to end somewhere and ours has to start again.

Am I the only one who's absolutely terrified of playing Leicester? Having said that, this season is a write off, if there's anyone I'd like to take three points from us it's them.

Chin up mate. We could be lifting the first trophy the season the end of February. There's Europe to look forward to. The FA Cup. And we're very handily placed for the top 4. Don't get down over the current run.

As I said over the page, I'm actually pretty confident things will turn again Saturday. Leicester's form has to slip at some stage and ours has to pick up again. And traditional we always do well in Boxing Day fixtures. Expecting a BIG reaction to Watford and the best home display/ win of the season.

LOT to look forward in 2016. Keep believing kid. He'll get us there.

I didn't mean the whole season was a write off, just that the league really isn't going well. The Newcastle and Watford results were cringe, and I totally understand it's down to Klopp adapting to the league and that we shouldn't be worried.. But I just don't know if he can get us playing well consistently until the end of the season.

I honestly think the top 4 will be City, Arsenal, Leicester, & Spurs. I just do not see their [Leicester] form dropping, the way they play is incredible.. I'm just very worried they will beat us, and if that happens it really does start casting doubt over our top 4 potential.

I'm so happy we have Klopp, IMO, no matter what happens this year I won't let it get me down because we have arguably the most exciting manager in the Premier League.. There's only one issue I have. Klopp loves to sign young players and develop them.. That might work in Germany where you get an easier ride, but here, historically it just doesn't work. We've been linked with some very, very talented young kids and that's great, but as much as I think Skrtel is a wet lettace I just wouldn't want him replaced by some 19 year old. Having said that he can replace Bogdan/ Mignolet with a bag of bricks and I'd be happy.

Yeah, if we fail to beat Leicester at home then that does start to put a big question mark against us.

Both Utd and L'pool missing the top 4 at the expense of Leicester and 'Spurs huh? That'd be something. Not something good for the two giants concerned, lol. But it'd be something to see. Leicester lasting the duration would be awesomely refreshing. Their counter attacking game is brilliant to watch and the fun they're all having shines through under Ranieri. Just can't see it but time will out on that. Pulling for them so long as it's not at our expense.

Here's hoping for one or two additions the window and a great second half the season.

Even 5 days on, I'm still struggling to think of a worse display I've ever seen live than Watford. There's many, particularly the Premier League era, that rank right up there. And I'm sure I'm missing something as that's the freshest in the memory. But to watch such abject ineptness at a club, with no disrespect to them, we shouldn't be loosing anything like 3-0 at; was complete and utter embarrassment. Even taking the continued, boneheaded individual mistakes out of the equation you just can't legislate for and the early reffing mistake with the goal from one of those mistakes; there was absolutely notiin'. No shape. No desire. No fight. No movement. No idea. No nothing. We could barely string two passes together. And when we did, we had brain dead morons like Moreno completely waisting them. Cringe worthy is right.

If there's no serious reaction against Leicester then I give up.

There'd better be!

It is almost the one team that is set-up perfectly to exploit our weaknesses... Sit back and play on the counter

Having said that, if our attack performs as we know it can we can win the game

I doubt he does, but I'd love to see us go with a 2 up there Saturday. Origi's earned a start with his sheer enthusiasm if nothing else. The end products not there but at least he's going at people which is far more than can be said of the senior pro's. But not on his own. Have him playing off Benteke and hopefully he can play himself back into form. (Would help if we'd give it to his feet instead of looking for his head all the time.). Also get Ibe starting and going at folk. Clyne is woefully isolated of late when he steps forward with nobody ahead of him looking for it.

Rains finally stopped.

Big bounce back game today and Leicester put in their place.

Really looking forward to this one.

Forget all the foreign GK's we've been linked with, Jack Butland would be a superb signing.

He has improved a ridiculous amount in a short space of time - Commanding, can take control at set-pieces and still young to improve further

Cue a Butland mistake now, but he has been really impressive this season
