Ugh. West 'Am at home 4th round. Uninspiring. Probably won't even get a Sat'day 3PM either.

Nah you will get some bollox kick off time, guaranteed if Eastleigh get through ours will be televised like I imagine yours will be, contemplating going but all depends on kick off times.

The BBC twats would probably shaft yers like they did us Exeter and put it Friday frigging night.

Ideally, if it's Eastleigh, you need it Sat'day teatime or even better Sunday dinner. Allows yer to travel down without setting off at an ungodly hour Saturday. Stay over the Saturday night and get home not too late the Sunday.

Unless you're driving there and back the same day then probably mid. Sunday afternoon be the best.

Not for from Southampton airport and flights out of Leeds were pretty reasonable (little difference in that and the train the League Cup game the other month) as an initial thought. Just limited on night time flights. Probably stay over Southampton or Winchester, somewhere like that the Sat'day if I was doing that. Look at Virgin EastCoast deals being in Hull down that line. Then you're out of Waterloo.

Point

I had contemplated through some real bored moments to take over Utd and screw them up just because.

But then it's much easier to just leave Van Gaal in charge. Man that game is SO realistic. ;).

I must confess I did that on the handheld version a couple of years ago, it was pretty fun. Highlight was a 37-0 loss to Chelsea before I was sacked, and I simmed the rest of the season, they finished 19th :D

You Sir are a LEGEND!

I think I may be tempted as well depending on how much he features the second half of the season

its 150k a week and 25million for someone who is simply not playing at the moment

Exactly. I've got more than enough FM experience to know what the best thing to do is.

Caulker on loan for the rest of the season - Once promised a lot but tailed off recently.

Targets must not be available, but he is a short term option who is better than our youth options so it's not that bad

Jonjo Shelvey to New for 12mil. Good buy i think.
He left Live around 5 mil?

HOW much? That's WELL over paying by a good £5 million. And a complete sideways step from Shelvey. SHOULD be playing at a much higher level than that now. But his continued lax attitude, to be kind, overwrites his talents and he'll always be one of those average players that could of been so much more if he'd just dedicated himself to his craft.

(VERY) desperate times calling for (VERY) desperate measures.

Presume either long term targets aren't available or prices are just ridiculous because clubs know how desperate we are for defenders. Can only presume too Norwich are not playing ball and a refusing to negotiate Wisdom out of his loan.

Had a few mocking texts from Blues this AM on this already as being 'an Everton move.' But we have no defenders and are absolutely desperate back there so what do you do? Needs must.

Origi out for another month after having minor surgery on his knee too to add to this horrendous injury filled season.

Fearing a serious doing tomorrow night.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, honestly though Caulker used to be pretty good back in the day, no idea what he's like now though. He probably won't look out of sorts with the likes of Lovren, Sakho and Skrtel, if that says much.

The one hope is he was supposed to be one of the better English defenders at a time - Playing in teams in the bottom half of the table is always hard aswell

HOPEFULLY, playing for a better side will give him the motivation to play like he did a few years back

No real risk though with it being a 6 month loan

When Lovren has elevated himself to be the best of the bunch. no, it sadly doesn't lol.

Absolutely. Much rather a short term loan to see us through if our long term targets are not currently available for whatever reason rather than doing what successive managers have done and splash out on someone of similar or marginally better quality who would be a squad player at best in coming seasons and would potentially block the progress of say Gomez down to wages and being stuck on a 2/3 year deal.

Wow. This is moving fast.

Trying to push through the paperwork to allow Caulker to play tomorrow. They're wanting him to be able to train in the late afternoon session.

If it makes you feel any better last season I put unsackable on and took them to the conference.

The highlight was the £200M signing of Whitehawk's Sergio Torres

Yers are all Evil.

But with brilliance behind the madness!

I LOVE IT! Lol.
