The different emotions during football.

I couldn't care less about how bad we were today after a 95th minute winner..

WOW

**** it! Let's bag Texiera and add the goals to make a top 4 run!

WOW indeed. THATS what being a football fan is ALL about. If you can't celebrate that and feel the ultimate, excited high you're dead inside!

******* comeback Reds.

Oh look, the 'nothing' player is coming on.

4 more months of pain for us.

Hahaha, that one time Lallana saves the ******* day!

What an absolute insane match, it has to be the match of the season for any neutral fan. When we got the second goal my gf said "maybe they have a chance afterall", but I honestly couldn't see us scoring another two to grab all the points. Instead we scored THREE.

This is the kinda **** that goes down in the history books as the definition of a rollercoaster match. Also the kind of **** that puts old people in the hospital because of heart attacks.

That was real irony. :P

Fair play, good win in the end, shown a lot of spirit to bounce back from a demoralizing loss against United. Considering we were utter ***** and beat you must of been hard for the players to take, let alone the fans.

Thanks man. Very magnanimous.

Teixera say's he want out of Shaktar this window, and that his father and agent are negotiating on his behalf to bring that around. And preferably he wants to play in England.

Negotiations still ongoing. Still the only 'official' bid is being reported as coming from ourselves.

Gonna' be a tense run in to the deadline on this boys.

So from 6 starts as a 9/ false 9 (however you want to term it, he's up there); Firmino has 5 goals and 4 assists.

That has to be him going forward now at least this year doesn't it? Even when Origi's fit, play him up with him. We look SO much better as an attacking unit when he's the spearhead down to his movement. He drops in, unlike Benteke, and opens it up for runners beyond him. He works the line. And he attacks the danger areas.

We may just of stumbled on his best position.

On the other hand .....

LFC have conceded 11 PL goals from set pieces this season. Klopp's teams have conceded 21 in last 49 league games. pic.twitter.com/ZCx0MaSFwX

Now I've checked game by game, Klopp's teams have conceded 21 set piece goals in their last 45 league games. Desperately needs sorting asap.

That's beyond abysmal and needs fixing ASAP. Yesterday was a step in the right direction in so far as we appeared to drop the zonal hybrid and went back to man marking finally at corners. And we won the majority of first balls which is novel and new when it comes to ourselves. We just didn't win the second and third ones and got punished again. But at last they're trying to come up with a solution to this on going mess back there.

Oh yeah, still buzzing from yesterday.

What a f-ing exciting game and finish that was.

One of those you're REALLY gutted you weren't there in person. Still wouldn't of broken the 9 goal barrier though haha. Seen that numerous times from our games over the years. But I wasn't at the Fulham 10-0 so never seen more than 9 goals in a match.

Firmino as the main striker I have no concerns with at all - The problem will be the service in behind him. Get Coutinho back fit, add Teixeira (If he comes) and the return of the injured strikers and that problem is solved (or at least a lot better!)

Mirror also reporting that we are stepping up Ter Stegan interest this window aswell - However unlikely, was we to pull off Teixeira and Ter Stegan in on window it would be fantastic.

2-3 CMs height advantage. Oh poor Klopp. How unfair it is, ******* league.

I'm not quite sure what the point of even posting that was other than to get a reaction, because nobody used it as an excuse or to state that's the main reason for our problems.

We're terribly defensively, but the fact we have one of the smallest in the league would almost certainly contribute to our poor record at set-pieces

You sure? Few days back some of you were patting your back yourselves for the excellent article posted here, which talked about height advantage.

Thank you.

We never looked on it as 'unfair.' A contributing factor to our deficiencies in the air and where we need to improve in that mould as regards players coming in, not least at the defensive end of the park. But not 'unfair.'

But we appreciate the concern regardless.
