Seen something that summed it all up this season.

Have we had terrible injuries? Yes. Is the squad insufficient? Yes. Is Klopp still adjusting? Yes. Could we still have done better? Yes.

On the plus side it'll only set yer back a grand to be in the new stand to see this shi ..... Ahhhhh, bollocks!

I don't get Sturridge at all.

League Cup final looming. You've got to think he's at best third choice right now the England pecking order behind Vardy and Kane the Nations Cup the summer. But still not pushing through anything to get back.

Well that depends on what you read - I'm still not convinced. It seems people are frustrated by his injuries so have resorted to putting it down to 'him not trying hard enough'

I still believe he could just be very injury prone... It happens

The thing is, I don't think the problem today was poor finishing. We just didn't create any actual chances.

Was his last one his hammie? If it is dont blame him for waiting at all.

It's not could. he IS massively injury prone, and at a dangerous point where it can destroy a career for explosive players like him. he shouldnt be fighting through anything. You did that with Torres and it broke him. Bring him back, slowly, get it sorted.

The whole play in the final third was off. Completely dominated upto that point, then either made the wrong decision, picked the wrong pass, or waisted what we did create. The amount of misplaced passes by both teams was stunning considering one team is top of the league and the other had (in money paid) a ridiculous amount of highly priced 'talent' (word used VERY loosely) out there. A real sad indictment of how poor the overall quality in the EPL is. Chris Waddle was beside himself the feed I was watching at the average play all over the park and the amount of boneheadedness with the constant turnover in possession from bad decisions and misplaced simple passes.

All that said the glaring difference again between Sturridge making something out of it and nobody else able to is the most telling story of our year. Leicester keep Vardy fit and score goals. 'Spurs keep Kane fit and score goals. We can't keep ours fit. Can't score goals. And are where we are and where the others would be if situations were reversed.

It just is what it is for this season at least sadly. I'd really like to see the likes of Smith, Brannigan, Ojo and Ward get a look in the league now though to see if they can be reliable first team squad members for next year.

I can agree with the first part, our final third play let us down, but that happens almost every week. As for the pass completion, Leicester are set up to play that way. I think they have the lowest pass completion in the entire league, and it's by design, not because they're a poor team. The way they play they accept that not everything is going to come off, but when it does, the quality of the chances they create tends to be very high.

You aren't helping! :(.

I wish I was just being mischeivious, but sadly not the case. Doesn't matter who they are, hate seeing fans being gouged. Henry is worse, because he is calculating and gambling on Anfields new found excitement and passion. Klopp wasn;t just lucky timing. This is all planned from start to finish, he knows he couldn't get away with it, with Liverpool struggling under Rodgers

Beating the 7th placed team. The highest team they'll of beaten at home this year.

Utterly dominated the game against them again but can't score for **** as usual. Then they lob it forward and Vardy scores a Worldy.

We had Sturridge we'd be top 4. But we don't, and we aren't as nobody else can score to save their lives.

Utterly frustrating but it is what it is this year.

And now it's 2. Harsh, harsh game. Jammy bastards.
You didn't dominate leicester...you did what united typically do...dominate possession then huff and puff in the final third.

It does frustrate when people suggest he is just mentally weak and it is him rather injuries preventing him returning... I can guarantee Sturridge, more so than anyone, is frustrated at what is happening currently.

Texeira is now supposedly been sold to a Chinese club. Don't know if this has escaped anyone else but I couldn't believe it when I found out this morning.

How?
How can you guarantee that? You have no idea what some bloke is feeling or thinking.

You can only guess.

Seems it was just A N Other Twitter rumour.

Shaktar owner completely denied he's going anywhere until at least the summer.

Sturridge due back in full team training today apparently. He's (finally) got through 10 straight sessions on his own.

Must be a Cup Final coming up. *Cynical me.

Entering the ballot for Wembley tickets. Hopefully I'll get them. Fingers crossed!!
