Mate, you're soon to be married. And you want to put yourself in the position of coming out of Old Trafford, on a Thursday night, after possibly putting them out. Of Europe. Where the stage gets no bigger.

DON'T tell your fiancé of your plans! Lol.

Come on now, it's not 1980s.

People power strikes again!

After FSG tried it AGAIN (when will they EVER learn) by bumping the Utd prices up to full whack, the last few hours fan outcry and they hurriedly back-track to this : European Prices - Liverpool FC

Fact remains the **** taking ***** tried it AGAIN! When will they EVER learn?!

When will the tickets go on sale? I'm going in the Kop for this one.

First leg's a week Thursday so it'll be quick.

£34, although still up 6 quid on last night, is slightly different from £48 for that Kop ticket. Great that the threat of a backlash and fan power made them act so quick again. But that shouldn't have to happen to start with. Twats.

United have officially requested a change to 8 PM for the second leg.

Just to add to the fun. Sighs.

Any thoughts about the outcome of the LC final? I think it will be a tight game and depending on how strong the lineups are we could edge it.
A win might really spur us on and keep up good form in this crucial part of the season.

A win would be humongous. Klopp's first trophy within 4 and a half months. All with someone else's side. All after that someone had failed to win a trophy in 3 years and all the millions spent. To get that monkey off his back so early and L'pool back to winning silverware really can't be understated how massive it would be.

Very confident of winning a 9th League Cup. I don't anticipate it being tight though. With the returning players having a few games under their belt now, along with the woeful Caballero in City's goal levelling out the equally woeful clown in ours, I can see quite a few goals in an open final. If Pellegrini insists on playing such a high line which he invariably always does, the two Brazilians and Daniel could have a field day.

Time to remind Sterling yet again what he's walked away from. First of (hopefully) many trophy's of the Klopp era.

Can't wait. Just a pain in the **** seeing most yer mates down today whilst you're sat waiting for tomorrow morning.

Top tier!

..... Top tier!

Sweet. Wonder what's the other end? 'Blue Moon?'

Absolutely buzzing sat here counting down the hours. It's funny. I hate Wembley. Not only is it stuck out the way in North London, the new version is soulless. As dilapidated as the 'old' Wembley was, it was a football stadium yer know? From the big terraces either end, the lack of facilities, the players getting grabbed by fans and bedecked in colours the way up the steps to collect the trophy; it was a great, unique experience. Now, it's so corporate and all about as much as they can make it's not even funny. And the new version isn't a patch on the Millennium experience in Cardiff those boss 6 years when you literally rolled out the bars into the ground being as you're right in the centre. This will be the 20th time I've seen my team play there from when I was first allowed to go/ taken to the first all Merseyside final in '84. The 5th Wembley League Cup final for us in that time.

With all the above you'd think I'd be bored and 'meh' of travelling to 'Anfield South.' (So coined as we went to the 'old' Wembley more times than any other club and I believe have still been more times than anyone else in total.). But I can't WAIT for tomorrow's final. In part because it's been just shy of four long years since we last played a final there. In another this is against City and with no disrespect intended to our last League Cup final victims, Cardiff; playing City feels like a REAL big game the like of which finals should be all about between two of the genuine heavyweights. And this has always been my favourite competition from my first ever game back in the second round against 4th division Bradford in 1980. The best present a young kid could EVER have. But more so because of one unassuming, funny as all ****, 'normal' German fella' who just fits this City and this fanbase like nobody else could and who has restored genuine belief that we are finally back on the road to where we all so crave to be again.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a MAJOR first step on that path with League Cup #9. Here's to a cracking spectacle fitting of this great competition.

One more sleep. (Maybe, lol.).

We are LIVERPOOL!

They're only showing it on one channel in Australia, which individually costs $20 per month and it's at 3.30am when I have uni tomorrow. Going to have to just find out the score I'm afraid :(
