Experienced mid and GK, but it was the kids who did the damage in fairness.

But zzezzy's point is more that they are playing (and that includes the more experience players) with a verve not seen this season.

Martial is likely to be back monday, so expect him to feature against Liverpool. And I hope Liverpool do think he's our only threat, they'll get stung that way, as Mata showed

He may well play tomorrow. Smart money is if so, he'll be on the bench. Home against Watford, let Rashford keep playing. He'll be there for the 10th for sure

Yeah expecting a quality atmosphere. Shame that the return leg isn't at Anfield though, we seem to go through 9 times out of 10 when it is!!

Scouse, any chance you know of anyone who could get me two tickets to United? I've promised a mate I will take him before he flies back to Spain in 3 weeks and I'm running out of time!

Chances are probably slimmer than Peter Crouch mind :P

Yeah, I went completely the other way after the game Sunday (for me) saying we should play what didn't play Wembley and the promising kids to rest up for Utd. But **** that. We win tonight, we're within 2 games of City. We need to start winning the league and we DEFO need to turn this absolutely horrific home form around. So if they're recovered from the weekend, go strongest possible side again. Sounds like Lucas and Sakho are the only ones defo out but everyone else trained last night.

I'll ask around like but chances are slim given it's them. Been a lot floating around for tonight. Folk are skint after the final.

Yeah - we are in two competitions now and may as well go all out for both with the league bunching up a little as of late.

The only reason I wouldn't really play Sturridge is because he played 120mins and looks out on his feet towards the end - Plus Origi deserves a chance

You'll have to buy them second hand. The club aren't advertising for a general sale. The least criteria is that you've been to a game in the last 3 seasons.

Wouldn't normally give Maddock of the Mirror the time of day but as he broke the Matip story ..... He's now saying we're seriously after both Reus and Gotze.

Make of that what you may but along with the Barca 'keeper., those three just won't go away.

Gotze I can see being a realistic target, but as much as it would be fantastic it seems Reus is merely a dream

Personally not buying into any name until it's confirmed. Grujic I'd never even heard of and Matip came from nowhere before all the speculation ran wild.

Just happy that whomever we buy will be bought with the intention of him being both an upgrade and fit to what we now require.

Gonna' be a fun summer. I think I recall reading when he was appointed he had something like a 17/18 player turnover his first summer window at Dortmund. So going on that he's obviously not afraid to gut a squad when it needs it.
