Benteke narking to the media whilst away with Belgium.

Must realise his time is coming to a swift end.

I saw that!

"I can play pressing and moving a lot"

Well champ, if that's the case, then why on earth don't you??

Well with Belgium's Brussels friendly naturally being cancelled after yesterday's horrific events, he's liable to home and facing the music ASAP.

Oh yeah, looking into Jonas Hector at Cologne, who we're reputed to be watching along with Horn all the times we go there; his size immediately strikes you. 6'1 and well built. This seem's to be a continued theme to get taller and stronger after our first two signings Grujic and Matip.

Be it him or A N Other, be nice to have that ariel presence at FB once again as we've paid heavily quite a few times in the air when or current short **** FB's Clyne and Moreno get left one-on-one the back stick, or ball's over them down the line. (Moreno in particular.).

A number of players linked including Hector, Ter Stegen, Sule, Xhaka, Gotze:

10 Liverpool targets to watch during the international break - This Is Anfield

Oh and fun fact:

The number 16 was where he was ranked out of the 20 starting Premier League keepers.

Lol. Yeah, as exemplified yet again on Sunday at Southampton, three successive shots on target, three goals go past him.

Shot stopping, supposedly one of his strengths, now no longer is.

Thanks for the reminder. Might well try catch those Germany games. What I'm reading on Hector, who now seems Low's first choice LB for the Euro's, is real intriguing.

If anyone has actually read the interview in full, it's actually quite a good one.

Just been having a discussion on 'keepers.

Apparently, aside from watching Horn at Cologne, we're getting regulars at Barca's Champions League games. Presumably for Ter Stegan. (Honestly never seen him in a full game but understand he's **** hot.). But the crux of the convo was my mate would rather us pay £7 mill. for Horn than 20 to Barca. Whereas my view has always been you can NEVER pay too much for a top quality 'keeper you're gonna' have for a decade or so. So if Ter Stegan's the man, pay out in a heartbeat. Never understood the reticence to pay for, outside of a consistent goalscorer, the single most important position on any team.

So out of interest which way do you fall on Mingler's replacement? (With the signs pointing more and more that he's done and the contract was just a financial move.)

Only as good as your keeper mate. Hence why we're ****.

Yeah, I'll never get the resistance to splashing big money for a goalkeeper. Especially in modern football where the goalkeeper role has evolved far beyond just shot stopping. It's a complete idiocy. First thing I do in new FM save is reassess my goalkeepers. They very rarely move, and once you have a good one locked down, it's easy to keep them for a decade.

This a good one.... Daily Mail reporting...

PSG targeting a 45million (45 MILL!) move for Daniel Sturridge with both Cavani and Ibra likely to leave in the summer.

I saw that as well, and as much as I love Sturridge, you can't turn down that sort of fee from a foreign club given his injury history

Dortmund tickets sorted. Roll on the 14th (after we win the 7th with an away goal or two)

I never knew he said that. The quote now adorns a wall at Melwood. Smiles. BIG.

Every club and player/person pays tribute to the great man but one club will turn the tribute about themselves. Classy. Did the same with American disaster.

I do not think the quote going on the wall was ever meant to pat tribute to Cruyff. It was always a testamenet to LFC fan base by showing what legends of the game once said

Oh, Utd have been narking all over twitter about this. It's petted, it's taking everything completely out of context, but that's their obsession with us. Just is what it is.
