Watching Sevilla (currently 1 down in Bilbao) out of interest before Wednesday.

Unal Emery's playing a real risky game to me. From the two semi-final legs against Donetsk, 7 players haven't played (including the 'keeper and 27 goal top scorer Gameiro.). With the captain having only 12 minutes as a sub.

The second leg against Donetsk was Th, May 5. That'll be 13 days without any competitive football for over half the first XI including the 2 main players either end of the pitch.

Long gap to go and expect to come back in form the final. (If well rested.).

Interesting approach from Emery. (Knoplyanka, the fella' we had until Dnipro's president refused to sign off on it a few years back, obviously wasn't as injured as reported earlier the week as he's out there.),

Just SO glad it's Sevilla and not someone else who would travel in massive numbers like Dortmund or United or it would be absolute carnage.

Lovren left out of the Croatia squad for the finals after his fallout with the manager.

Sorry for him but excellent news for us. Rest up will Dejan ready fro pre-season. You'll be key back there next year again.

Our POTY for me. From looking like bambi on skates last year to a proper commanding CB this year.
 
People are actually moaning on social media about finishing 8th? SERIOUSLY?

He's not signed ONE player, working with someone else's sub-par squad. (Many of whom he's improved immeasurably.). He's had the injury list from ****. His team have played more games than any other side from the top 5 European leagues. The past month and more he's been basically having to put out the under 5's every other game. He's gotten this team to TWO cup finals his first 8 months in the gig. We stand on the verge of yet another European trophy to kick start what will hopefully be our era coming around again. The futures as bright as it has been at Anfield in EONS! He's given us some incredible nights this year, not least in Europe with Dortmund arguably the greatest Anfield night of all. EVER! The crowds been buzzing like it's not buzzed as a collective for a LONG time. (The end of 13/14 excepted.).

And STILL yers want to moan and *****?!!!!!

**** off and support Everton or United or some ****. SERIOUSLY! Just get the **** out of our club and let the rest of us enjoy what's being built.

Another excellent shout for POTY. The turnaround in Lovren since Klopp's come from most everyone having him first out the door has been astounding. DEFO his place to lose now going forward alongside Matip.

And props to you for all the arguments I watched you have with folk here over Skrtel. The ONLY time Lovren now looks shaky is when he's out there. As EVERY other defender does. You always stood firm that he was the one common denominator to utter shiteness.

Praise the Lord yesterday was the last time we'll ever see the complete fraud in red again.

Which after 50K or so of us travelled to Istanbul and into another frigging Continent the Asian side, you'd think they'd be more switched on.
