Meh. Last time we had no Europe we finished 2nd. Silver linings and all. Will suit Klopps style better
 
Sucks for ref mistakes, but in fairness to Sevilla, they had you on the ropes for entire 2nd half.You didn't play good enough to win it, simple as that.
 
Could have had some more luck in the first half, but really we can't complain about the result. We disappeared in the second half and Sevilla were electric
 
This is why it's so dangerous to turn doubters into believers. I didn't believe when Dortmund were leading 2-0, or when they went 3-1 up. Still we won. Today I sincerely believed we would win, I was convinced we would win. Even more so after the first half. Then the refs pull my heart out and Sevilla stomp on it. Right now I'm just sad alcohol is the only drug I have available.

Anyway, on the bright side - if there is one - we can focus 100% on the league next season. We all saw what that resulted in last time for us and this season for Leicester. If the flipside of the coin is a league win, **** you can stomp my heart any day of the week. I choose to believe.

It doesn't help that a lot people declared the Cup as good as won the moment you went past Dortmund.

Sevilla was always going to be toughest opponent in the whole competition, the whole side has gigantic experience in cup ties, and it showed. They didn't panic, they kept the cool head, and that's what won it in the end. You just cracked under pressure.

Sevilla own the europa league as much as bayern own the bundesliga

I don't remember anyone taking it for granted, not even on reddit. But a lot of people believed, including me. There's an important disctinction between those two positions.
 
Even first half we weren't great in all honesty. Sevilla were just woeful which made us look good. Should have had a few penos, so is always gutting when that happens.
 
By the way congrats to Moreno for his second Europa League title with Sevilla. Someone give that man his winners medal
 
3rd one was a stonewall penalty. If this was chimpanzee football competition, maybe you could argue it was natural hand position.

Otherwise, its' a pen.
