Can't see Götze joining after reading that Bild article. Didn't really think it was gonna happen although I did have hopes, but we made everything harder for ourselves with that second half against Sevilla. At least he made his decision early, so we can move on instead of having a Götze saga until late August.
 
New signing Karius is due to miss the first 3 weeks of the season due to playing for Germany in the Olympics.

Don't know what to fully believe with Ancelotti supposedly not wanting him. Until he extends with them everything's still in play but again if he just wants Champions League football he can do one regardless. You believe fully in what Klopp's building or we're not interested in you.

Well he's quoted as saying "I look forward to the new season in Munich and will do everything possible to compete in top shape during my first training under Carlo Ancelotti." by Bild. Dortmund are reportedly interested in waiting until his contract runs out and sign him on a free. In any case I don't see him moving to us this summer.
 
Not forgotten Phil saying he wanted to stay and give everything st Inter ..... A week later he was in red.

I'd caution a 'wait and see' on this one.

Mario Götze has told Klopp that he won't join Liverpool. He has also turned down Dortmund. This after a phone-call with Ancelotti (Bild)

We could lose 20 players and I still wouldn't worry about a thing. Cos with Jurgen, it's gonna be alrite.

And yeah I was stopping myself from getting excited of Gotze until he'd be wearing the shirt.
 
Gotze wants to stay at Bayern. Now whether Bayern get upgrades and move him on is a different story. Ancellotti was always a fan tbh
 
Hearing the Met have finally passed the Barca game for Wembley after all their concerns of us and Utd being down London the same weekend. (Charity Shield day after.). Should be official confirmation the next couple days.
