So you understand that my point was legitimate and yet I shouldn't say it because it will 'wind people up'? Look if you are scared of getting offended, you might as well not be on a forum where fans of multiple teams converge to have a discussion

Also as Marshall pointed out, the only person who seems to have got winded up is you and perhaps Tezz who cannot respond to it head on so he makes a snarky comment instead
 
Honestly I am tired of toxic discussion polluting the forums time and time again so I would like to draw a line under this matter. I apologize if any of felt like I was trolling

I didn't need to respond after Marshall nailed it on the head saying "you can only play what's in front of you".

I'll quote you and then quote Marshall as my response next time to make sure I've responded to you head on. :)

Uhh yes you can only play whats in front of you. That does not mean we should applaud you when you score goals against one of the poorest countries in the world with an amateur defense when you probably will not get the same space against a proper defense ...

Calm down. I don't think Tezz understood the point I made which is why I was clarifying it. Its a discussion forum Scouse

Lionel Messi was on the pitch a half hour or so last night and scored a hatty.

But I won't show the goals (two great finishes from defensive mistakes and an awesome free kick); as they were against little Panama and he'd of never of done that against serious professional defence and 'keeper.



Yeah, what I just wrote sounds absolutely ridiculous and designed for a reaction too.

Leave it alone.

I honestly don't know what you are on about anymore. Anyways this is a discussion between me and Tezz. As long as its not descending into insults and mud slingling like other discussions have, I really don't see why you are getting worked up about it either. Its the summer. There is not much else to discuss

I'm having a discussion with you on what you, me and everyone else knew you did without even being subtle about it and what you've managed to drag out over two pages in some vein protest to the contrary. Leave it alone, you're looking more silly, to be kind, the more you push it.

But I'll step back from trying to save you the embarrassment as it's only enabling you to add more.

I genuinely have no idea what you are trying to say except 'please don't post anymore on the issue' because ????

I really don't care if I look silly to you. I am responding to Tezz and as I said, as long as the discussion is civil and respectful, I don't see whats your problem with it
 
Really wanted to run the rule over Zielinski earlier (not seen anything outside of highlights of him for what they're worth) who we've bid on today but he never even came off the bench for Poland in a very mediocre game against N.Ireland darn it!

Its weird because the press and so on seem to rate him. But a lot of poles I know and have spoken to Sen to think he's overrated.

Vermaelen hasn't played football for years now lol. The guy is more injured then Darren Anderton. We already have Toure's replacement and his name is Joe Gomez.
