Can't be a fraud if ya won the league in your first season. Have we got worse under him the more he has stepped out of Klopps shadow. Yes, but two things can also be true.
Yeah won it riding off the wave of a previous manager hardly having to do anything bar a few tweaks here and there. Hes being more exposed the more time he has to mould his squad and imprint his tactics/style of play etc. only down hill from here imo.

why are you poking the bear

Honestly, as gutting as it is, it is at least an improvement in the sense we actually created chances and actually scored goals. We were in full control until Konate once again makes a brain dead decision

Like I said you dont win a league title riding the coat-tails of the previous manager as good as Klopp was. The tweaks he made were more than good enough, however he has lost his way with mitigating circumstances that no one could have foreseen this summer. The whole club is hurting and it's not helped by Slots insistence on doing the same thing over and over again. I only agree with your last point but I personally think the roads run for him and the club would've acted sooner if viable options were available.

Well done you for just totally dissing Klopp who couldn’t win it the previous 4 seasons with the same squad.

Any more Pal winning managers you’d like to slight?

I’ll write tomorrow when I’ve slept on it but we win that game comfortably without Konate playing. The draw is solely on him and nobody else.

Serious liability who undoes everything that man.
No need to sleep on it. You can copy and paste konate disasterclass followed by a mental collapse due to low confidence like you've mentioned a million times, with a dash of a manager who doesn't know how to arrest any form of free fall in the side game wise or tactics wise. Same time again next week?

Full statement from Salah interview:

It's a frustrating result for us as a team, because we expect to win a match like this.

We managed to score two goals early on, and the game was going our way, but I think we conceded silly goals—goals that we were conceding even when I was playing.

I'm not using what's happened to defend myself; because we were conceding those goals even with me on the pitch.

I was sitting on the bench for 90 minutes. I think it's the first time in my career for three times in a row, but I'm very frustrated.

I'm very, very frustrated. I've given so much to this club.

Everyone can see that over the years, especially in the last season.

But today I'm sitting on the bench… I don't know why.

It feels like the club is throwing me under the bus; that's how I feel.

I think it's very clear that someone wants to put all the blame on me.

The club promised me a lot of things in the summer, and none of those promises have been fulfilled so far.

So I can say they're keeping that promise somewhere else.

I had a really good relationship with the manager...

Right now, after this issue, there's no relationship at all.

I don't know the reason, but maybe there's someone who doesn't want me at the club.

I'll love Liverpool forever, my kids will love Liverpool forever.

I love Liverpool so much and I'll support Liverpool forever.

I called my mom yesterday… she didn't know I wouldn't be starting today, but I did.

I told her: Come to the Brighton match, it doesn't matter if I play or not, I'll enjoy it.

We'll see what happens. In my mind, I'll enjoy it anyway, because I don't know what's going to happen.

The match will be at Anfield, so it'll be my farewell before I go to the Africa Cup of Nations.

I don't know why I'm in this situation now.

Any other club would protect their player.

It seems like there's someone who wants to make me out to be the problem, but simply put, I'm not the problem.

I've given so much to this club; I deserve more respect.

And I shouldn't have to fight every day for my place, because I've earned it.

People will say: You're not bigger than the club; well, I'm not bigger than anyone; I just earned my place.

That's the thing for me.

Wow. When it rains it pours eh?

And I shouldn't have to fight every day for my place, because I've earned it.

I agree with a lot of what he has said, but I completely disagree with this. You have to earn you place every single week.
The moment you think you "deserve" a spot, your motivation drops and you end up in this situation.

Mo can F right off out the club after that. Seriously. The egotistical, self serving gobshite.

Completely undermines the manager.

BANG out of order.

Take a look in the F mirror!

Motivation and Salah? Any other player I'd agree but Salah is as professional as it comes to the game. He's been hung dry by a manager if the truth about no communication with him about why he was dropped.

It is a a theme with Slot and his management of players e.g Quansah banished to the shadow realm and knocking his confidence, Harvey never getting any minutes or Chiesa and countless others. His lack of squad management and rotation last season cost us in the cups as the players had no minutes in their legs. Did Salah deserve to be dropped? Yes but to not use him today was an indicement of a manager under pressure and losing the dressing room. Slot is a dead man walking for me now.

The new players won’t properly flourish either until he’s gone.

Been an all time legend. But NOBODY is bigger than the football club.

He’d better be nowhere near the squad for Inter.

Disgraceful that. Jumped up little *****.
I think you need to take your rose tinted Slot glasses off sometimes and understand Salahs situation. Im going to be candid and say that Slots man management in certain situations have been extremely poor and this is one of them. Yes Salah has been gash but the tactics Slot has been serving up havent helped him. This is the same Salah who rarely gives interviews so im inclined to believe him when he says why is he being used as a scapegoat when the manager clearly has favourites.

This isn't just any player its a club legend who has given his all and been professional to a tee on and off the pitch since he's been here. Surely you can communicate the reason why you dropped him and not severe the relationship like Slot has according to Salah. Personally this reeks of Hughes and the above interference as they clearly didn't want to give him the big contract but Salah forced their hands last season with his performances. One patch of bad form is not enough for me to just discard a club legend and its more than black and white as you put it Scouse. I think you also have to accept that Slot is a dead man walking who has bungled this season and it isn't about undermining the manager but trying to save a season instead of picking sides. All Salah is doing is simply pointing out the problem isn't just him.

Mate, GTF!

Seriously, if you are remotely trying to defend that, GTF!

NOBODY is bigger than the footall club and NOBODY deserves an automatic place that he shouldn't have to fight for as his jumped up, self serving ego has cry arsed to the World. Instead of looking inward at how ***** he's been.

This has F all to do with Slot. Save for the Egyptian gobS diigracefully undermining him. This is ALL on Salah.
