Not half as bad as the Tapas Pulis has left you feeling today Gorst lad as your beloveds failed yet again to claim silverware.

Victory for football over anti-football. Which City completely dominated from 20 in until the end.

First time I’ve been happy all weekend. The above reminder that Gorst is now devoed with his Arsenal failures has just added to that.
I dont usually pay attention to what Gary Neville says but one thing he is always bang on is how risk averse Tapas Pulis sets his team out to be. City were not afraid to take risks, and it showed. The league has been a horrible watch this year, no thanks to Arteta and his brand of Mourinho-evolved anti-football.

thing is you may hate mourinho type of football but he did win a lot and i do mean a lot arteta is just very very bad

Just seen this myself. I feel like I should be more gutted than I am, but I dont think anyone can be surprised. I guess thats because im comparing it to the bombshell of when Klopp left which came out of nowhere.

Its a shame his last season has ended on a whimper (both personally and the club)

With it looking unlikely we are going to win a trophy this season, or him breaking any more records, where would you rank him in the all time greats at the club @Scouseinthehouse ? Interested in seeing where you would put him considering all the world class players you have seen play for us down the years

He is number one in the PL era (Kenny will always be number one for obvious reasons) and for me due to what he means on a personal level due to coming from the same background and how similar his journey is to my father and grandfather etc. Someone coming from the sameish background as you and making it to the top of their field will always be inspirational to anyone, but Mo's story is extra special because even by lucks standards he should never have made it.

He represents everything great about Liverpool. Hardwork, humility and never giving up and for me bridged the gap in one of the cogs in making us go from doubters to believers along with others. By his standards this year has been horrific but its been a terrible year on a personal and football year for the whole squad and fans alike. A part of me is delusional and with a break come the summer away I still believe he can offer us something but all great things must come to an end.
