Player revolt has started so much for being behind the manager. This is going to be toxic for the last game. All of the making from the two twats behind this whole fiasco.

You know whats funny idc if its ego as Slot puts it but not one thing about that statement is incorrect. The standards are in the gutter. So much for the manager hasn't lost the dressing room. The higher ups are clearly in cut of your own nose to spite your face stage.

Edit: A good point lost in all of this is. Is for all Slots faults he is a title winning manager and it should never have gotten this far to him being called out publicly by the majority of the dressing room (the likes from the players are damning). He should've been gone
months ago and this is beyond repair now. An absolute slow car crash that should've been sorted months ago by the board.

All true.

Mo was absolutely right to call out standards dropping. There’s a whole host of things that need addressing and something sorely has to change.

The hypocritical issue with it though, which makes it even more insulting coming from ANY player, is tactics and playing style have F all do with personal, professional pride and respect for the club that employs them. And supporters who sacrifice so much to follow them every week. When they can’t.even be A to do the bare minimum and run around and ‘tattle people, that’s on THEM! That has F all to do with coaches and comes from within. Take some F personal responsibility and put the graft in instead of buck passing! The lack of ANY senior leader within that group is staggering.

So whilst I’m in full agreement about the premise of what he said, it’s beyond insulting to have it come from any player given they’ve patently stopped playing the last two games and have been nottin’ shy of an absolute disgrace to every last Red out there. Not least those among us who’ve paid to be there and travelled/ took a day off and an over night in Birmingham as you can’t get back by train after half 9, to watch them show the ultimate disdain and disrespect to the club and its support.

Along with the timing, a week before a crucial, must win last game. Which, not for the first time this season. is proper selfish and abysmal from Salah.

They've clearly stopped playing for the manager and are using Salah as the figure head to get their point across. That's why I feel its unfair to put the entire blame off the last couple of months on him. It's been abject and a slap in the face of the fans who travel up and down and then to be called out by said players is disgraceful to put it lightly. On the pitch is it a chicken or egg situation? where by is the tactics that set them up that way that let them get away with being abject on a pitch we don't know. Regardless, it's been so horrific for months now I'm not surprised Salah and others who have nothing to lose are leading this revolt.

Tone-deaf or not the crux of the matter for me is how this untenable situation has been created by those above Slot who imo haven't given him the tools this season. Regardless of the extenuating circumstances we all know it should never have gotten this bad on the pitch. That comes down to Slot and imo how he manages which doesn't suit this league long term. Lastly, I still maintain if you get rid of Slot then the two above have to go with a year remaining on their contracts. No two ways about it this slow car crash is their fault entirely.

The lad who couldn’t get a work permy 2 summers back.

Mad to let him add to his staff if he’s being binned.
Also Heitinga who was the link between the players and coaching staff. Heavily loved by the players and helped soften Slots abrasive nature was vetoed by those above when Slot wanted him back in Jan. This horseshoe of terror ball you're seeing is the brain child of Van Bronckhorst who Rangers fans warned about online.

His football was sound and exciting the run to the UEFA final.

Much more entertaining than Gerards anyway.

Worked in Europe but they complained in the league. Sound similar? Either way Heitinga leaving was a big blow and I dont understand why he was vetoed when Slot asked for him again.

I personally liked his tenure and style of football at Rangers period after the dross of Gerrard’s defensive first game.

Sunderland too.

I’d laugh at the boos the end the Harry Hill ….. If it wasn’t for some of our cringe embarrassing bleeps turning us into Everton doing the same! 🤬
