Congratulations Palace.

Now go get Wharton boxed early.
Good player but do you think he is the right profile of midfielder we need? We already lack physically in the middle and Wharton wont improve that. However, ever since Trent our midfield is probably the bottom for progressing the ball forward. So I see a need for him.

I'd like Stiller from Stuttgart can do the same thing but more importantly move about the pitch and has bite.

I like him. But with Palace having European football next season I could see him staying. But if he does move I can’t see him being cheap especially if it’s to another English club.

Especially when you look at what there gonna use to set the price. With the likes of Anderson, Belaba, Roger’s rumored fees. And the likes of Rice, Caicedo, Enzo other midfielders that were bought for big money.

Apparently when we enquired about him price was around £80 plus

Konate leaving I’m sound with. Never have gotten’ the love and cult hero status for a walking liability.

Konate, in his prime, leaving for **** all, not so much. They’d better have ready made, vet. experience lined up to step straight in or we are in a World of *****.

Too early to say whether this is good or bad. What happens next defines this move.

The uproar is cracking me up. I love Ibou as a character in the dressing room but if Virgil isnt holding his hand he is a walking liability. Can you imagine him leading the defence when Virgils moves on. I think it's a good move as the wages he wants isn't good enough for the role he is at. No need to panic just yet.

If the plan is to, say, hijack the Senesi deal. Or activate the Schlotterbeck release clause, being one of the few clubs he’s named that can, then sound. With, you’d presume, Quansah next summer for the £50 million buy- back we have in place for 2027. That would all make perfect sense.

But if they are now left scrambling around …..

There is no need to panic as you can’t possibly make a judgement on this yet.

What happens next defines this decision.

Thank you for everything mate. Sincerely. For returning us to the top of the mountain and giving us the best day out the match/ celebration of any title, we’ve ever had. And for leading us with humble dignity through the most trying of circumstances last season no club should ever have to go through. And hopefully never will again.

All the best in your future endeavours. Your rightful place on the Champions banner will forever be displayed before every home game the Kop. We will always remember you fondly for number 20.

Onto the next guardian of this behemoth if a football club …..

@Scouseinthehouse Iraola the front runner apparently? He would've been my choice considering the head coach model we run. You think he's a good option?

Well, I’ve often said on here that my favourite PL team to watch after ourselves is Bournemouth. Who work every bit as hard as Jurgen’s sides did. Proper exciting side them. And I really like him as a person in the mould of Jurgen and Arne.

Massive step up like from Bournemouth. But outside of Enrique, or maybe Naglesman after the WC, I don’t know who’s a better fit right now?
