Well, I’ve often said on here that my favourite PL team to watch after ourselves is Bournemouth. Who work every bit as hard as Jurgen’s sides did. Proper exciting side them. And I really like him as a person in the mould of Jurgen and Arne.

Massive step up like from Bournemouth. But outside of Enrique, or maybe Naglesman after the WC, I don’t know who’s a better fit right now?
Yep I was quietly hoping he would be the main target. Xabi was never going to be a target with his need to be a manager and not a head coach. Iraola does not get involved with transfers and will more importantly work the players hard similar to Klopp and his double sessions that raised eyebrows at first.

Obviously Enrique would be perfect but Nagelsmann for me is far away from being a Liverpool man simply with his character. Very dislikable man.

Xabi was always fan driven mate through sentiment. It was his refusal to change stylistically to what we gave that made that a non starter. If he had, he’d have been here before Arne.

What I really like more than anything about Iriola is he’s a proud Basque. And the Basque region is to Spain what Liverpool is to England. Independent. Bullish. Fiercely proud. He’d fit in perfectly with what makes us tick here and how different we are to the rest of the Country.

I guess Slot moving on means Edwards and Hughes are also being moved on. Never like Edwards for obvious reasons but Hughes atleast gets to work with a head coach he has done great work with previously. Edwards on the other hand and his coniving ways can get ******. Respectfully.

Hughes will stay he has connections with Ariola

🚨 Andoni Iraola clear favourite to succeed Arne Slot as Liverpool boss. #LFC may talk to other candidates like Stuttgart’s Sebastian Hoenes & Pierre Sage of Lens but 43yo Spaniard leading candidate after #AFCB exit & very close to Richard Hughes @TheAthleticFC

I'd be happy with either Iraola or Hoeness as stylistically they fit what is required. One thing is for certain though Edwards has to go as his remit of multi club ownership is no longer on the cards and his meddling ways make no more sense. Should never have been brought back as this multi club bs is a cancer to the game.

I like him so could be a good appointment. Hopefully with better players he can improve his win % as it’s not great throughout his career. Hopefully can handle all a huge club like Liverpool brings.

Bournemouth (Premier League): 35.2% win rate
Rayo Vallecano (La Liga): 37.3% win rate
Mirandés (Segunda División): 31% win rate
AEK Larnaca (Cyprus First Division): 44% win

And the Basque region is to Spain what Liverpool is to England. Independent.

It's a bit early for that much alcohol and hallucinogens Scouse 😂

Liverpool is part of United Kingdom and specifically England.

They pay UK taxes such as Income Tax, National Insurance, VAT, fuel duty, etc.

Most major taxes are collected by the UK government through HM Revenue & Customs.

Tax revenues go into the UK Treasury and fund national spending including:
Healthcare (NHS)
Defence
State pensions
Welfare
Infrastructure
Government departments
The monarchy via the annual Sovereign Grant

Basque Country (Spain)
Basque Country is part of Spain.
The Basque Country has one of the most autonomous tax systems in Europe.

Most taxes are collected directly by Basque provincial governments.
The Basque authorities keep the majority of the revenue.

They then pay an agreed contribution ("Cupo") to the Spanish state for services such as:
Defence
Foreign affairs
National institutions
