The last game of the pre-season saw one of the Biggest teams in Berwicks long history make their way to Sheilfield Park, as the Toon Army made the rare journey up North. The Premier League side where in no mood to take things easy however running out comfortable winners, with new signing Michu picking up a clinical brace that left Jordan Lowery helpless.
A mixed bag as our traditional pre-season see's us fall way short of the standard of Championship football in our home nation, highlighting a dramatic gulf in class between the two countries domestic leagues, however a rare victory atleast gives hope of one day bridging the gap.
