Yeah, hope it forces our hand, especially with Cleverley out as well. He lost his early season form, but oh so light in numbers in midfield now. More Rooney CM action? :D

Wouldnt be suprised, he was actually pretty good. But really it shouldnt need to happen. Im not saying go buy a world beater, but we still should have had someone to go alongside cleverley. My fears about injury have proved well founded sadly.

I thought he might have signed during the summer. Think Fergie wanted to see him play a full season injury free before buying.

Personally I'd still go for Sneijder. The fact he's cup tied will work in our favour, he'll cost less. What's he gonna miss? Two 1st round ko matches, 2 quarters, 2 semis and a final IF we even get out of the group. Pay the money, win the league. Anything after that is a bonus

Why would he cost less because he's cup tied? It only means Utd don't want to spend as much on him as before. He's still as valuable to Inter as before. Especially now when they are really struggling in Serie A.
 
Yep Wesley S is the best player in Inter by miles. If he left then Inter would be even worse than they are now
 
If SAF wants Sneijder then he should wait until summer. It seems fairly likely that Inter will be without CL football next season and Sneijder would probably want a transfer.

Never got the Hamsik hype. He's good, yeah, but he's also vastly overrated.
 
I think Hamsik could be even more expensive than Sneijder. Selling him would mean that Napoli are ready to sell their starts which would mean Cavani & Lavezzi bye bye...

I think Javi Martinez could also be nice addition for Utd. But the best choise would still be Modric.
