The Manchester United Thread

Tomorrow we ll get a much better idea about where we are and where we ll end up come the end of the reason (irrespective of the result).

Tough match ...

Yeh QPR at home was the best and probably easiest fixture we could of had... tomorrow better indicator.

Fecking **** the muppets on MOTD think adrian should have been sent off, brentan/liverpool lovefest continues.

Sakho is awful he can't even direct a header.

Welbeck had good game today for Arsenal, knew he'd be good for them.

Couldn't miss that chance like, surprised arsenal never won by more they were playing a villa side who had a bunch of ill players with an already awful record vs that lot.

Still, selling Welbeck to a top 4 rival when trying to get back in to the top 4 and they are desperate on deadline day is just still utter madness to me.

He wanted to go, what were we to do? have him sit in the stands/bench most of the season?

Refuse to sell him to a top 4 rival and if no one else or he wouldn't go anywhere else, happily keep him for the season, would of still been a useful option to have.

He wouldn't be an option unless 2-3 of our strikers got injured, had enough sulky players last season don't need any this season. With everyone fit for me he wouldn't get on our bench.

They did initially refuse. he made it clear he wanted to go to Arsenal, and and permanently so.

We lost Welbeck, we got Falcao.

We lost Welbeck, we got Falcao.

But my point is, if we lost out on top 4 and Arsenal made it, wouldn't that just have leave ourselves to blame. We strengthened one of our biggest rivals with someone they desperately needed.

Not really imo unless arsenal beat us both times and welbeck bags 20-30 goals but arsenal might have got 4th with welbeck or no welbeck.

Unless it's your star player i see no problem with selling to rivals.

And in doing so strengthened ourselves furrther. Are we a better wide with Falcao than we are with Welbeck?

Watching MOTD, great to see brown staying fit. Possibly one of my fave defenders in the mid to late 00's for us, he was an absolute tank in 08.
