The Manchester United Thread

Just 1 more day and we will be watching Di Maria and Shaw teaming up on the left side of the field. Can't wait to watch them play. At least this season I'm looking forward to watch our games as we are scoring goals and playing some decent football.
Our attacking play has been great this season. Cant wait for tomorrow! :)

I think if Perez were to let his golden boy go back to Manchester his new toy would be Reus, not Sterling. However, there are reports he's interested in Sterling, and it's Perez, so he'd probably go for both. Like Andras99 said, gotta catch 'em all.

Yeah who needs Ronaldo when we have Valencia, Young or strikers who can't offer any pace upfront.

We have signed very good CMs. Blind, Herrera and Di Maria/Rooney can play in midfield 3 and Ronaldo, Di Maria as a wide forward.

When you get a chance to sign player like Ronaldo you should just sign him. Will never ever get a chance to sign player of his quality once missed.

You heard of James Wilson or Januzaj or Falcao? If Ronaldo came in that would kill any hope for players like them, two of our brightest youth prospects who are already finding it difficult to get a place in the team, even without Ronaldo.

So now Januzaj is striker? Wilson is not ready for the first team and if Ronaldo is signed he won't be playing in that position too, so I don't know why signing player like Ronaldo will kill any hope for them.

It's ridiculous that people even suggest that they don't want Ronaldo because it might kill any hope for youngsters who don't even play in same position.

Looks like Van Gaal said what I tweeted you yesterday.

"I don't like having too many left-sided defenders or left-footed players in defence," he told MUTV. "I think always of balance so [instead] I have to pick up a right-sided central defender from the youth education.

Actually Januzaj has played as striker before in under 21s and been very effective. But considering our quality there already, Ronaldo would most likely playing out-wide anyway.

I think LVG even said he had been training in that position as well, when playing the 3-5-2, dunno if that's changed now. (Januzaj).

I'm actually genuinely not fussed about Ronaldo, far bigger priorities than him IMO.

He played as striker for U21s as Keane was injured and we had no fit strikers left. He was excellent but he is not a striker. He is a winger and a #10.

Tom Thorpe is better. Dude you moan about every single thing it's so tiresome.

I moan when there is a right to moan and right now there really is.

Look our transfer business was good in some ways but you could argue there was no structure to it at all.

For a team like United we should not have such a bad defence and need to call U21's 5 games into the season.

All this kind of stuff matters at the end of the season, you can't risk giving away points because you never know how valuable they will be at end of the season.

We could quite easily drop them again tomorrow with a defence consisting of Rojo and Tom Thorpe as CB's.

Tomorrow we will play with our first choice players except Thorpe. As per sporting fans Rojo is a CB and that's why he was signed. So we have 10 first choice players and 1 young player.
