The Manchester United Thread

And god, what is with the fans over here? One bad game, and suddenly Rojo has atrocious positioning, and Rafael needs to be booted out. Oh, and de Gea sucks. One good game, and suddenly McNair is miles better than Blackett.

FFS, People over here need to learn some patience and moderation.

Rojo surprised me today, after last game vs Leicester when he played LB I thought he was really positionally bad but today he was solid.

What an experience for McNair though, he'll gain a lot from a game like today and quite honestly, hope he continues to get a look in if he performs at that level.

Btw, De Gea was at fault for 1st West Ham goal.

Shouldn't feel relief after playing west ham but after wayne got sent off, could have went **** up.

Don't say anything bad about de gea, some people can't handle that.

de Gea was faulty for the first goal. But that was some good positioning to save a potential second when Sakho took a shot to the near post.

My point was essentially that. People are too quick to judge based on just one game. Rojo was bad against Leicester, yes, but that automatically doesn't mean he is a bad defender;;

Would of been very easy to collapse given last game when we went down to 10 men and with all the new players/youth we had on the pitch, I thought it was a real spirited team performance and will certainly bring back confidence.

No, what people can't handle is unintelligent criticism. If you're expecting de Gea to be another Schmeichel, then you'll be left bitterly disappointed. But individually, de Gea is excellent. Still makes errors, but with a stable defence in front of him, he'll be brilliant.

Kept us in the game with that save early on!

Really do need massive sarcasm detector over some comments on here, 100% serious all the time on this board.

Yes he was, but then he also made a great save through brilliant positioning to stop a good shot. He was on point today apart from his **** up but he marsheled his defense and on a couple of occasions I saw him talking to both McNair and Rojo about their positioning being some sort of mediator between the two languages and he was talking to his line a lot. But his distribution was shocking today and needs to be worked on. I am not too bothered about the mistake though because like it has already been discussed he was the top of the charts for taking out crossed balls. SO isn't something that will happen to much.

True, he had a bad game vs Leicester but today he was really solid and his commitment/passion to the cause you could see throughout the whole 2nd half.

Dude, what on earth is the matter with you? Read and understand context. The Messi part was only and only related to your over-exaggerated comment of a '12 year old girl', and nothing else. It wasn't a comparision to Messi or Januzaj's game or goal scoring abilities :\

Comparision to Messi isn't a comparision to Messi? Yeah, ok.

And incase you're speaking down of a weakish player who gets taken down a bit too easily, we had one of those earlier too. His name is Ronaldo. And he improved.

Yeah, except he doesn't play as striker as Vanrager is professing for Januzaj.

Although, that being said, it'd be nice to see Januzaj being given more time.

Sure would, but I heard they have to glue him to the bench with duct tape so he doesn't fly off when the wind comes.

Because all I have seen you do is critisize the team so when you are sarcastic we aren't generally going to notice

No, it is the defense, De Gea, Rojo, Evans, Smalling Fletcher, Roo, the team as a whole. I am not having a go, You have your opinion on things and that is fine. I am just telling you why people may have thought you were being serious with that comment. After a good game you knocked people who thing DDG is not bad which is quite a lot of people on here. Joking or not.

So instead of kneejerk reactions it's always good to wait and see how he plays.

What a header by McNair, have to wait and see how he develops but it is fair to say he has potential after seeing him the first time properly today

Well tbf most fans would of kneejerk reacted after last game vs Leicester and how bad some performances were, defensively anyway.
