Looks like will be Fletcher or Periera starting vs Everton as LVG does not think Carrick will be back till the WBA match. Also same as Phil Jones, so can see Rojo and McNair at the back again. Think LVG might just start with Periera in CM on Saturday as he has favoured youth more often than not this season, also played very well against Spurs last night nearly bagging a couple of goals.

Yet we bought players like Di Maria and Falcao... ok ok ok, that makes perfect sense.
 
For the record, that's a huge loss to our team, Herrera has started this season brilliantly IMO and replacing him with Fletcher will be a big down-slide.

Can't see it being Pereira or Januzaj as there is absolutely no balance to that midfield then whatsoever and we have to respect that Everton will cause us problems.

I'm not saying we didn't, well tbf Falcao wasn't really needed.

But the financial muscle we have it's a bit lame to say ohhhh "we couldn't sign another cm" because we didn't get rid of Fellaini. What about releasing Anderson rather than letting him take the place of someone on the bench?

The CMs LVG wanted were injured tbh. But agree that what we have should not have made a difference. Also defo needed Falcao after Welbeck and Hernandez leaving with Wilson getting injured before season started.

In hindsight yes, Falcao was needed, but then again I never expected Welbeck to leave.

I'd take Falcao over Welbeck, but something about Welbeck I always liked, his finishing is not a strong point but he certainly offers a lot to the team.

But anyway, back to original subject, Herrera big loss, no confidence in Fletcher but suppose we have to hope there will still be enough service from Di Maria and Blind to the forwards.

Think Fletcher will be ok and maybe keep things a bit more tight, and just let Di Maria,Mata,RVP,Falcao do there thing :) Also good job for the international break!
