Exactly its not our money and if we can afford it and makes sense to the club we will. But its all talk atm. Think he would be great tbh and would suite LVGs 433 system down to the ground. Think we will defo be challenging in the next few years.
That's what I said mate in another post. If he is included not a chance! Otherwise im not fussed. The deal would apparently include De Gea going the other way.
**** no.

Well it's easy to say that but De Gea's contract is fast running down and we may have our hand forced if it gets left much longer, perhaps he doesn't want to extend his stay and wants the Madrid move, it wouldn't surprise me, he's Spanish after all.
He's an Atletico boy.
Wonder if Jose would sell ya's Petr Cech?
May be on the old side but still a quality keeper with a few years left. If you could pick him up cheap enough & offset the cost of Bale with De Gea?
If it's down to football then there is no reason to go to Madrid. The only reason he would go back to Spain is for his partner, so I'm not to concerned as she has said she likes coming to England. Not worried what so ever just a matter of time. I'm guessing it will be sorted by the end of January if not before. Not sure this would mean much, footballers rarely see it like us fans it's a business. If he at some point wants a move then i doubt he'd snub Real, i don't think any footballers would in the right circumstance.
Saying that i'm a fan but if i was a pro footballer i wouldn't turn down liverpool or city, suppose all depends on who gives him the best deal and whether or not he wants to play in sunny spain for the best club in the world or us.

Nearly all that coulld be said about us. And can easily match them financiallyWhy not? If Madrid seriously want him then footballing wise, their is very little reason for him not to go. They probably have the 2nd best if not the best team in Europe. Serious CL and La Liga contenders. Some of the best players in the world in the team plus the will to ensure it lasts. Oh and of course the prestige

I agree it is subjective, but been an athletici lad Madrid might not be that big for him. Plus next season we will be challenging on all fronts and have more world class players. Will have to see I guess.Except you are not CL contenders and outside shots for the league title. You have some world-class players in your team but they have more including the best player in the world (Ronaldo). Prestige is subjective depending from player to player although since De Gea is brought up in Spain, Real Madrid's statute may have a bigger impact on him. Anyways that's subjective and doesn't really matter. Point is that footballing wise, Real Madrid is a more attractive option that United for most players at this present moment
Anyone see the story going round that Odegaard and his agent are in Manchester to sign for us or City?
Agree mate look at the youngsters that have been hyped and end up Championship level players so many fade away we have had a few for different reasons. Morrison,Powell,Daehli,Zaha sure theres more.I wonder who will remember this guy after another 2-3 years. The amount of hype over youth players these days is insane and does no good for their ego/development. I have seen this guy play and he is good for sure but many players look like world-beaters at the age of 16 before fading away in every sport. Wish the media would leave the kid alone
