Expected, Carrick only became liked by most united fans (some still don't) in around 2011 or even as late as 2013 when he was really excellent.

Agree, but what he lacks in physicality he makes up for in persistence and dogidness love the little guy :P

Decision making may not be great but remember the lad has been deprived of opportunities this season and wouldn't we soon be moaning if he wasn't taking risks.... think of Valencia as a winger, I'll run forward into space then pass back kind of attitude.

At least Januzaj has the balls to try stuff and honestly I don't mind if it goes wrong sometimes because of it.
 
Looks like Rojo is gonna turn out to be a top CB for us good composure on the ball and very good passing out from the back. Also cant see him be bullied by any STRs in the league so strong and quick.

As good as it'll look on paper i doubt LVG will go with that as the 3, which is probably why he always has one of fellaini or rooney in over him because we need a proper box to box player or just a specimen like Pogba.

Plus i'm sure LVG said in pre season he thinks he is more of a number 10 and quite clearly doesn't have him up the pecking order as high as the fans do and i don't see how that'll change next season with more spending.

Would be terrible waste of money if Herrera is not used properly and went on to sign new CM.

I think we will see a lot more of Herrera next season with more games, better luck with injuries and this stupid stuff off the field out the way. If LVG did not want him he would not have sanctioned the transfer, just been unlucky in a few ways.
 
Ben Pearson doing well on loan atm. Scored a good goal VS Port vale today. Looking forward to seeing it on Football League show, ran from 1 end of the pitch to the other to score.

Don't by that tbh, just my opinion but i think lvg probably has a list of names he wants to sign and player over herrera, **** fellaini, mata and rooney have all been picked ahead of him this season.

Untill I hear a valid reason that LVG rate him I will stick by what I posted. We will sign a CM but we will be loseing as well. Herrera will play plenty next season.
 
Herrera was excellent every time I've seen him, not sure why he's being benched. Seems like its just the case of Rooney being higher in the pecking order.

Was terrible away to west brom and i think since then he's been way down in the pecking order.

He played as a number 10 and mata deeper in that game, no idea what the thinking there was.

That was his 1st game back after his rib injury, remember reading that he told physio/lvg was fit to play but clearly wasn't.
 
Also if we were to lose DDG which I don't think we will. We should be all out for Rulli has been class everytime I have watched him and is having a great game against Madrid today.
