Most pundits have no idea how FFP works and see it as an incredibly simple balance sheet, where incomings must equal outgoings. Whilst that's true to an extent, things like wages and other clauses in contracts etc mean that it's actually a fair bit more complicated than that.

Chelsea could realistically sign spend a considerable amount this summer without needing to sell. To get Reus and Pogba we would need to sell.

Happy 30th B.Day Ronnie:) What the **** has happened to Dortmund LOL I know they have lost players to Bayern and have been crippled by injuries. But there squad is more than good enough to still be fighting for a spot in CL or EL this season. We should be raiding then in the Summer as I cant see them staying up. Reus,Hummels,Gundogan and LB Durm we should be in for. Just seen the players talking to the angry fans afterwards WTF things are bad rumours are if Klopp loses on Saturday he will be shown the door, and that's from reliable sources.

Gundogan and Hummels can happen. Haven't seen Durm play, so can't comment on him. Think Reus is headed off to Bayern, most likely. If not, **** yeah. Januzaj/di Maria and Reus on the wings is enough to get salivating, and probably an excellent chance to go 4-2-3-1.

Also, I think they'll manage to avoid relegation considering the squad they have. I dunno what sort of **** happened, but I don't think they'll get relegated. But they'll be out of the CL, which means they'll be raided; they don't have the money power to retain players despite not being in CL.

They might just scrape out of relegation but will be tough, think they have lost 13 out of 20 games which is bad especially after the money they spent in the Summer more than any team in the Bundesligue. They cant even buy a goal let alone look like scoring one. Most of them players will be wanted by nearly all top clubs in Europe. Not sure Reus would be a starter at Bayern with there squad, players like that will be after that im sure. Durm is very talented youngster and Lowe German coach said he will be in the German side for years to come.
 
The Dutchman also revealed that another young prospect, Paddy McNair has signed a contract

Can see him as the next Oshea. Good squad player and good enough to start against some Prem sides. And very good at multiple positions. Happy he signed, can see Blackett and Evans leaving in the Summer then and Thorpe.

At the moment, I can't think of a more spectacular fall from grace as this one.

2014/15 - Rock bottom after 19 games with 17 remaining
2013/14 - Runner up
2012/13 - Runner up
2011/12 - Champions
2010/11 - Champions
 
Dortmund's fall is probably freakish turn of events I've seen in football. Especially since I watched them regularly in CL and they were always excellent and made it smoothly on top of a tough groupl.
