Huge and satisfying win. But just have to say despite the assist, the amount of times Di Maria losses the ball and exposes the team to counters is mind boggling. But **** it, have 2 whole weeks to savour this win.

He had an assist and created the pass for penalty. Pretty good for 30 minutes on the pitch.

Considering his poor form of late even still he contributes with an assist or key pass. He will fire and come good sooner rather than later.

He was absolute **** once again. But again because he got an "assist" everyone is blinkered to it. If young would have stayed on the game would have been dead and buried. Di Maria constantly loses posession with his **** passes. When he has time to pick out a cross, he's one of the best, but he can't play a simple 5/10 yard pass to a team mate. Even his "assist" was behind Mata. It was hardly a good pass. Exactly the same against Spurs.

No one is saying he was not ****. But he still contributed to us winning the game, despite being **** :)

Just hope away to like palace and everton we don't balls it up, win the games we should and then maybe get 4 or 6 points from city, chelsea and arsenal, that will do me.

Think after the last 3 games and performances this is the turning point for us under LVG like when Bayern beat Juve and never looked back and went on to win the double. Still lots of work to do but the performances as well as the results I can only look forward. And with the right LVG signings and a proper pre season next season should be something to look forward to.
