The Manchester United Thread

I see where you're coming from.. fine work on the tshirt though.

Thanks, I was thinking of starting up my own business, selling T-shirts. I also have a nice one with Danny wearing a tin foil hat. :)

Anyway, thanks for the three points tonight United. I think we have taken 4 off you this season, which can't be sniffed at, even if we were very lucky in the 1st game. :)

die.

But yeah have no complaints about tonight, we were second best, overpowered in midfield

Like I said before. Newcastle beat us just because they have Obertan. Huge psychological advantage.

Making t shirts and watching us get prawned, you've had a great evening

Considering I was sat with my 12 original glazed KK doughnuts, yes, I have had a fantastic evening.

On a lighter note (punny.. cos I'm fat), after tonights game, you would hope SAF would open his cheque book and sign some midfielders, as quite simply, you won't win the league with the team as it is. And with Fletcher out for any amount of time, you might as well act now, rather than just handing City the league.

i heard on SS that it was the first time NUFC beat MUFC since 2001!

12 years unbeaten lol :)

Some laughable decision making by Ferguson tonight.

Looked like he'd lost the plot. Deary me.

He has to, we get overrun as soon as we come up against any mids with mobility and energy, such as tiote and cabaye. the two players we have with engines are a) crocked (fletcher) or b) playing like **** (Anderson)

You could do with both Tiote and Cabaye. No idea how we got them, or if we will be able to hold onto them past the end of January/the season.

Think you will lose at one in the summer, unless you finish like 6th and show some way of pushing top 4.

and i would take cabaye in a heart beat

I suspect if you were after Tiote you'd have to have a bit of a battle for him with Chelsea-they're very keen on the lad. With the way those two are playing it's no surprise at all. This window is going to be very intruiging. Though some clubs will I suspect, blow their chances by waiting to the last day. As usual.

we dont need any of that dicking about till the last day, we need two midfielders, one high energy winner/passer (cabaye ) and one creative passer runner

Can't believe Valencia started ahead of Rafael at RB, and Anderson didn't get picked for that midfield.

Shocking.

Oh and when they need a goal, he takes off Rooney. Admittedly he was awful, but who would you expect to pop up with a goal, Rooney or Park?

Just like we can't afford to lose more players on the last day :S

Cant Wait for sunday, the Etihad is a fortresss so i dont think you will get past us, but i could be wrong, not to sound arrogant. Form does go out the door yes, but the home advantage is key for us

but then based on the previous 6 i could

Valencia i could see why (wouldnt have been my choice) but i would have started Anderson, or had Rooney sit in the AMC role rather than pushing up into 4-4-2. Certainly wouldnt have taken him off

Yeah the Arteta deal was a extremly late and you never got his replacement.

Think you will this window? :)

Already looking unlikely-and we lost another player to Sampdoria (Mustafi-promising youngster who left on a free). Looks like the money is already draining away with wage turnover going up to 60% (before Donovan arrived). So....there you go :S

Could Donavan play there for the few months he is there?

Depends on a few things. Injuries, wether or not Bilyshavin leaves. Few more midfield problems then we're really in deep ****-similar to what Man Utd is experiencing right now. Though we do have McFadden back, if we lost a couple of key players again...well...leave you to imagine what will happen.
