Welcome to the league of Chelsea. Where they defend for the whole first half, and then score. I really like their playstyle, it's rare to see it anymore.

What a boring game of football.
That Terry block on Di Maria epitomizes everything that I love about proper english defenders. Happy with Shaw in a back four and Smalling was exceptional again. Di Maria and Januzaj showed why they aren't getting games at the minute, far too wasteful with possession.
Well if we look at it calmly then:
1. We didnt play badly. Against almost any other team in the world we would ve been more effective.
2. Thats why Mourinho is the best manager in the world. You may not like it cos it aint pretty (though I DO find it beautiful in its own way) but it gets results. He just doesnt lose big matches. He may draw the odd one (PSG home) but he rarely loses them.
3. Seeing them both on the same pitch I still cant understand why we didnt go for FABREGAS instead of ANDER.
4. The Blackett-Shaw change didnt make sense (unless it was a fitness thing). He was a constant threat (ok he should work more on his crosses) and can properly overlap. Blackett time and again showed he cant.
5. That was a CLEAR peno!!!
