Shame this match has been ruined by the decision to send Kompany off.
 
In fairness!! Kompany went in there with an awful lot of Man City jersey on!! He had to go off really.

yeah he does now like lol. Who can blame him.

This validates my point earlier. Money guarantees you nothing (though the ref did play part too). Also means other teams have a fighting chance in later rounds now. Thanks Utd!

Yellow card at most, but I don't think it deserved a booking at all.

Shame, as I was looking forward to this one as a neutral.
 
Although Utd are in dreamland with this score, like Billy said, the red card sort of ruined the game. On another note, £25 million for Nasri looks like a brilliant deal. (6)

Such an incredible first half. How many people were genuinely expecting that scoreline? Though I did expect some slightly dubious refereeing decision at some point
 
As much as I'd to see a genuine thrashing to shut up all the gobshite glory hunting City "fans" that have risen up from whatever cesspool they like to live in normally, this is one of those games that in the grand scheme of things you just have to chalk off.

Commiserations to any genuine City fans who will have a ton of **** flung at them for the next couple of days for reasons that their team could do nothing about.
 
I'd say bring Scholes on just for the epicness, but after what Kompany was sent off for, he wouldn't last 2 minutes.
