The Manchester United Thread

Yeh..... the CB situation was going to come back and bite us eventually, Swansea best opponent we've played so far and to be quite honest our centre-back's have been all over the place today.

Blind has been the better of the two. The error was smalling. Can't keep saying "the cb was going to bit eventually" when its from the CB who would be playing. well actually it starts from the midfield.

Why do goalies always feel the need to dive on the floor to save every shot with their hand? If Romero just stands up there and sticks his left leg out the ball just trickles to his foot and he picks it up.

Yes, that was poor marking from Smalling. But where was our second CD?

Mistakes all round including Romero who should save that in honesty, but still got to maintain we needed a CB before the window started it was priority for most, I still haven't changed my stance despite us looking solid against fairly weak opponents so far.

What a load of ****. Too slow, too predictable. Gk,cb, and striker needed. Don't think we will get any before Tuesday night though. At this rate city will run away with the league.

Though it's not actually related to the goal at hand?

I have no problem with playing target man just saying Scholes passes are not long balls in a hope that some target man will do something, they were perfectly weighed to the winger in space and to the feet.

I hope we bring on Fellaini. Need someone upfront to create space for others.

Our balls last year up to Fellaini wasnt just aimless balls being pumped up. Did you not see LVG's dossier lol

Trying to cover for our missing DMs.

Why? Turtle up and try to break them. Thats what I don't like about Blind. He does that very often. Smallings marking is still poor, however he has pace to recover. Good strikers will take advantage of that.

Blind is not even a CB, he's going to make mistakes like this. How we can rely on him for this season is beyond me but still.

At least we're winning the net spend lads.

Woody and glazernomics will be pleased.

I didn't mean that. I was talking about long balls. Last year I'm sure I made a post arguing we don't play long balls and it's just diagonal passes, so I wasn't saying we played aimless balls.

Herrera off, Fellaini on. Put Rooney behind Fellaini waiting for the knock downs. Keep Young and Memphis on the wings putting the crosses in.

Memphis, Herrera and Rooney have been very disappointing.

I bet Rooney's hat-trick against a weak team like Brugge will forgive him for another ton of bad performances for the next month or two before people start to question him again.
