The Manchester United Thread

I MARIA HITS OUT AT LVGAngel di Maria has been speaking about his decision to leave Manchester United for Paris St-Germain this summer and it's fair to say he has not been particularly complimentary about Louis van Gaal.
"Van Gaal has his philosophy and one of the things that made me want to leave is that," he told ESPN Radio Argentina.
"It is difficult to adapt to Van Gaal. I had a couple of rows with him. I started well and after that I got injured. Things didn't go well for me and Van Gaal changed my position.

"I spoke with (PSG head coach Laurent) Blanc and his thinking was that I'd play in a similar position to where I did at Real Madrid."

what a **** who is he to dictate where he plays he gets paid to play not complain where he plays lvg is doing the right thing he is the boss and no1 can undermime him

FYI that reported fee of €80m (£58m) from Canal+ for Martial is €50m (£36m) up front plus €30m (£22m) in add ons.

If I was superstar footballer I'd totally just **** with gullible people on Twitter every day.

"Hey , here's a picture of me playing Real Madrid on FIFA"
"Breaking news, Tyton to Real Madrid confirmed".

Haha you should look what Götze did... Posted a picture with text straight out of Germany and rumours started.

Where in that does Di Maria dictate where he's played? He said LvG changed his position.

Dude, pick another club.

With your, uhmmmmm, 'straight talking' mouth, King Felipe would have you beheaded! XD.

Fine by me, aslong as we get someone in.

Please tell me you're joking, losing Rojo would be a disaster, even if we did replace him. We can't lose anyone else in that defence and only replace with one player, we would need at least two.

Plausible, but £22m in add ons???? Seriously, that's slightly outrageous.

Add-ons might be performance-based, so its not really a problem. If he's banging hat-tricks every day, you'll pay Monaco some extra, and if he doesn't, you won't. Not a big deal

You need a winger with pace and power? Why not Moses? And a defender with bags of class? Well then, look no further than sometimes right back, always right choice Ramires.

Straight swap?
