I don't see how anything will change the way we approach the game. Win against PSV at home means we are through but we failed.

This is the same team that went 400 plus mins without scoring a goal and now we have few injured players.
 
Baffling how it's got to this point, should have qualified by now you know with all the BS about LVG and united being made for europe and van gaal a "tactical genius"
 
Looking forward to tonights game tbh. Even though the nerves are building already lol. Shame we have so many injuries atm, but also good to see a few youngsters in the squad. Predicting a tight game unless we score early, then can maybe see us getting 2-3. I hope to god he starts Vareala at RFB and Darmian at LFB and not Young in either FB possition. Was impressed with Vareala against West Ham.

All I really know about Varela is that he's in the Utd U21s on FM when you start a game (and he's 22) and he kicks off if you don't register him for Europe haha. So by that reasoning, I do not like him!

He is unlucky with all the change in management at United. He was promising player and looked very good for reserves, then all of a sudden he was off to Madrid B.

Glad he is getting his chances. Not saying he will be our RB for years to come but he deserved his chances for how he played for reserves.

Defo deserves his chance after his reserve performances. Easily good enough to be a good back up to Darmian imo.
 
Have to give credit to Van Gaal for at least 1 thing. He is not afraid to use younger players even in the most important games. Many managers would have thrown Young at RB or some senior players but he uses younger players which is good to see.


Apart from that, I'm ready to be bored for 2 hours again. Match starts at 1:15 AM here, phew.
 
Ricardo Rodriguez subbed, what a blow for Wolfsburg. Was actually excited about seeing how he performed today.
