The Manchester United Thread

Behave!, no thank you

Hey, if they want a short-term fixer, The Interim One has that nickname for a reason. He'd stay out of the media, prepare for games, and collect points. Not the worst thing that could happen, I wouldn't be surprised if he lands at United if LVG gets the sack.

Exactly and he had very good success in a similar role at Chelsea last time. Top 4 finish and a European trophy with no proper striker and unbalanced squad. Sounds familiar to the predicament United are in ...

Which is even more mindblowing than firing Benitez.

Zidane will be in a poisoned chalice there, even if at first he is successful, one bad season and he is sacked. Despite all that previous hard work at the club and relationships, they will be broken very quickly. Be intrigued to see how this ultimately ends up.

Zidane the next Madrid manager WTF. Thats more daft than sacking Benitez. Madrid is sure a strange run club. On transfers whats peoples views on that young Schalke winger we was linked to in the summer, read something abou us and City fighting for his signiture. Leroy Sane i think his name is. Felipe Anderson would be a good signing imo having watched Lazio a lot the last 2 seasons, reminds me a bit like Douglas Costa at Bayern and Willian but with more pace. Would not mind Maine for tge right price though.

When it comes to Madrid, NOTHING would surprise me.

Its not about Madrid though. Its about Jose. He is the one that will refuse going. Also his family hated Madrid due to press intrusion into their privacy so there is that ...

Re: Benitez ... It always seeemed like he never really had control of the dressing room and especially the key elements so no surprise really

The whole place is such a freakshow its impossible to figure out what is real and what is media fabrication. Benzema's jail charges. Ronaldo constatly fueling speculation that he's about to leave. James getting caught speeding and trying to outrun the cops. The fax-gate.

In any normal club that amount of drama would cause the whole place to implode, but in Madrid its just another routine day.

It genuinely beggars belief why players are willing to hack off their right limb to go there

Such a toxic club, Real Madrid. More than any other club in Europe, for sure.

That's why they continue to be a law unto themselves. Regardless of everything, they're still by far and away the biggest, most successful and most glamorous club on the planet. In one of the greatest (IMHO. Love the place) Capital City's on the planet. People will ALWAYS want a piece of that regardless of the ultimate consequences.

Why I have zero compassion for anyone they f-over. The latest being today when they did it to one of their own.

You join Madrid, you know the clownshow that prevails behind the glamor and what will more than likely ultimately f-you over too.

I think Sane signed a new contract now.
