The Manchester United Thread

I get why he's swapped mata for mkhitaryan but why Lingard? Especially to play him on the left. Not really been happy with martial so far so I was expecting him to be out for rashford. Not got a clue where Lingard has come from

Perfect time to pull one back!!! Get to half time, get the team talk in, take on Martial/Rashford and Mata, and we're back in this!!! COME ON UNITED PULL THOSE F*****G SOCKS UP.

We're back in the game, Bravo's courtesy. We're still clueless and there's so much to be done to get something out of this game.

Blind is having a shocker.

That's what happens when you face a world class, ball-playing side with Fellaini and Rooney in your midfield.

Slightly off topic, but it boils my **** seeing people in football stadiums standing with a phone in their hands filming the match.
You are THERE!!! Just watch the match for f**k sake.

Every ***** you take doesn't have to be posted on social media.

Promising at the end think it would be worth blasting the ball at Bravo from the half way line and seeing how he deals with it

Please Utd. There's a City fan on FB saying if Silva scores again he wins £670. Don't let me down dammit :@

The girlfriend just walked into the living room and quite coolly says... "Oh sit down ye big eejit" XD
Girls just don't understand.

The keeper looks very very shaky, get balls into the box. Expected Zlatan to have a little bit more composure there, was a good chance to equal it before HT.

Rooney's final ball/decision making on the break has been really good. Lingard looks rusty, his touch is not there at all, and the same can be said for Mkhitaryan. Pogba has looked really good when he's got on the ball and drives into the final third, we need to get the ball to him more. I can't really blame Shaw & Valencia for not bombing forward, I think it's best they just focus on their defensive duties in this match, and be very careful/selective when to join in.

City have looked really good this first half. Well, 10 of their players have. Bravo made some nice passes when there was no United player in his half, but now that he's being put under pressure he seems really vulnerable. Could've got another 2 before half time and should've equalised if Zlatan had blasted that last Stones instead of trying to pass it into the back of the net.

Encouraging signs at the end of the half though.

Iheanacho is fantastic though. So so good. Lad is going to be a star under Guardiola.

I think half time came at the perfect time for City, I expect they'll be settled again to start the second. United still lucky to be in this though

Its what I was saying earlier in the thread. If City were winning by being ****, imagine how good they would be once they start getting into their rhythmn. First half provided an ominous reminder of that.
