Those Kaka rumours are total fabrication, he can't even play CM, not defensively astute enough, well I would not gamble on it, he won't get in his AMC pos either as we have Kagawa/Rooney/Berbatov (even RVP if need be) to play there. I think we need a CM who does the hard and dirty work, not necesarrily the flamboyant and pretty ;) Hence why Tiote is perfect.

Tiote has more to his game than just tackling. He is by no means just a pure DM, hence why he plays CM for Newcastle alongside Cabaye and they finished in a Europa League spot.

Not sue about that, Cabaye would be perfect solution.

Kaka rumours are nonsense. Man Utd would never pay his current wages. The position Kaka plays is well-stocked. Also Kaka is not as good as he once was. Lost that pace which he relied on to get past players in his prime

LOL kaka thing was joke no way could we even afford him plus wages would be insane, i like tiote but dont rate his passing game that much we need CM who can do both break up play and stroke ball around my fave would be moutinho but very unlikely.

Kaka's not lost it by any means, would be a nonsensical signing but one I'd love purely because I love the guy. We wouldn't pay his wages but neither would anyone else, I can't see him moving without having to take a pay cut. It all depends on whether he wanted to force a move really. SAF was interested a long time ago but think this is just idiots creating fake accounts and rumours.

I don't think the cash is there for another marquee signing so don't expect one.

I can't help but wonder why we sign this Buttner the young LB on a 5 year deal but send out Fabio on loan to gain experience, only for him to return and face competition that may hinder his progress and behind Evra as well? Or is this a sign evra is indeed on his way out, not of the club neccessarily but losing his edge and may fall out the first XI?( even though I thinkhe alreadyhas lost his defensive side o the game)

Evra is 31, he hasnt got that much time. Not seen Buttner, but SAF clearly thinks he is more advanced than Fabio.

- if only you had Pogba.

Pogba is not better than Anderson, Cleverley, Petrucci, Scholes, Carrick. Potentially he will be better than most of the mentioned players but as of now he isn't.

Dutch defender Alexander Buttner has flown into England to undergo a medical at Manchester United.

The 23-year-old was wanted by the likes of Southampton, Fulham and Queens Park Rangers earlier this summer - but now United have made their move and are ready to seal a €5million deal.

Buttner has already declared the move a dream, and as he left Schipol Airport in Amsterdam for Manchester, he admits things were still sinking in.

"If a week ago, you told me that together with Robin van Persie I would be playing at Manchester United, I would have driven you straight to the mad house," he said.

"One month ago Manchester United sent an email expressing their interest, but in the last four days it became concrete.

"I have not spoken yet with Sir Alex Ferguson, but if all goes well that will happen."

Buttner has been in dispute with Vitesse Arnhem over his future and has been training away from the first-team squad.

"With not being allowed to train with the first-team and the arbitration case against Vitesse, this was not a nice time so I see this as a reward," he added.

A possible first XI for tonight? I'd say:

De Gea - Rafael - Carrick - Vidic - Evra - Valencia - Kagawa - Scholes - Nani - Rooney - van Persie

We may as well just bend over and beg Fellaini to stuff us up the marmite highway. RVP isn't match fit, so think he'll be on the bench.

We may also try a 4-2-3-1 to create some superiority in midfield:

De Gea - Rafael - Carrick - Vidic - Evra - Scholes - Cleverley - Valencia - Kagawa - Nani - Rooney

Or we can just stick to 4-4-2 and play with Chicharito or Welbeck in case of van Persie isn't match fit. Can't wait 'till tonight.

I think Anderson will be the key player, we need his physical presence in the middle. Anderson with either Cleverley or Scholes and RVP might start from bench as he played only 15 mins in preseason but you never know with Fergie.

Ferguson said Van Persie, who has played less than 20 minutes of football this pre-season, could yet start on the bench against Everton on Monday. Ferguson said: "He hasn’t played much, but adrenalin will help him.
“We will have a look at him on Saturday and Sunday and have a chat with him to see how he feels. After that, we’ll have a good idea of whether to start him or put him on the bench.
