The rich have stayed rich and poorer got poorer. In all walks of life.
That's a whole other discussion for a whole other place. You'd like to think, given the pandemic has thrown up that despicable gap in the 'haves and have nots' through society in starker, front and centre contrast than there's ever been, and will only get the worse the higer the unemployment figures rise and more and more people are finding out just what it's like to be put on the breadline through no fault of their own; that things would change the other side of this and that gap would be more levelled out. But the chances of that ever happening, not least with a Government in place the next 4-years which is the polar opposite of wanting that, doesn't fill you with much hope of the status quo changing. But this isn't the forum ......
At least, as regards football, COVID is finally waking football clubs up from there fantasy PL bubble they've been living in the past 3 decades and making them actually run themselves like every other business has to do. Which hasn't been a bad byproduct of this horror at all.
