🔙 Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Matheus Cunha and Noussair Mazraoui are back at Carrington and could be in the travelling squad for United's game against PSG in Gothenburg on Saturday, per @ChrisWheelerDM.

He adds that Youri Tielemans and Senne Lammens may also feature, but it's unclear whether Benjamin Šeško will be fit enough to make the trip ⏳

Yes I agree he had taken them as far as he could, it's possible he left when he did due to what could be seen as a 'poor' transfer window in terms of money spent compared to the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and City. No manager likes to see smaller than expected amounts spent but the club seem to be going down the route of producing academy players to save money and picking up the odd bargain. If the squad fail this season in the league and do badly in the cup then his resignation will be deemed to be justified but, as you say for such a young club to have already won throphies and qualified for European competition twice since formation is way better than was expected in reality. Personally I won't be surprised if he hasn't already got another job lined up propably overseas which would explain the timing. It will however, be interesting to see who takes on the job that will say more about how the owners view the future than any transfer window ever can.

Reports I get the idea it’s an external one and not promotion from within. Getting his assistant back from Spurs Martin Ho would be a good choice not sure he would though.
 
Only Rashford, Mainoo, Martinez to return to training now. We defo need a couple more in before the window shuts ideally back up STR, Really athletic CM, LB. But the squads looking good.

Yeah I think we will mate. Especially in the cups maybe early CL rounds and sub appearances. Hes a special player very much a copy of Foden in terms of play style and ability. Hopefully can stay injury free as he had a few last season.

Yeah, now that I look at him, I can see why you'd give a Foden comparison.
I hope we can shoehorn him in early in select league games.
 
Really enjoyable first half of pre season footy. Pretty much carbon copy first half as against Atletico. Asleep early on concede after 2 mins on the break. Then completely dominate PSG who have no answer for our press and really could have had 2 more with a bit more sharpness and better heading. Mbaiye looks good on PSG right wing who got PSGs goal and seems there only outlet atm. Only bad thing about that half was Mount not surprisingly went off after 20 mins.
 
Finished 1-1 second half was a damp squib lol. 20 million subs and no rhythm. Heaton went off early with a hamstring injury after rushing off his line to make a clearance. It’s still created the better chances second half. Great for Dalot, Bruno, Tielemans to get some mins. Tough shout between Amad and Santos for MOTM. Lacey also showing he can be a good back up for Bruno at 10
